To be honest, I think the new generation Ford Bronco resembles an old Scout more than it does an old Bronco. Customize one with a different grille and round taillights and you’d have it.the shape of the door cutouts would be a challenge, though. And I wouldn’t be surprised if all the wiring and electronic gadgetry in a new Bronco weighs more than a whole first generation Scout.
Give me a nice 4 Cyl. Diesel or an in line 400ci 6 Cyl. and I would seriously consider buying a new Scout. I wouldn't buy one of these for all the dynamite it would take to blow me to kingdom come. What a waste of time, energy, and money to even consider an "electric Scout". Do all you yuppie trash people think the 4X4 community is a bunch of pansies? Do you know how heavy that thing will have to be to have enough energy stored to run the Rubicon? Can you imagine the fire it WILL start when one of those batteries goes into thermal overload in the middle of the forest after crossing a stream and catching a rock into the battery case? This has disaster written all over it.
*_Motor. It's called an "Electric Motor" not an Engine. There's Piston Engines, and Diesel_*_ _Engines, and Internal Combustion Engines. Not Motors. That's why its called General_ Motors. _*_And say things to Motorists like Happy Motoring. And call Detroit Motor City._*_ _*_Get it?_** hahaha LOL*
