I think a lot of the Narration and Dialogue is over direct and sometimes a little generic, especially for you. I've also seen quite a few grammatical errors, have you considered a proofreader? There's definitely room for improvement.
I think this saga was fantastic, one of the best so far. Lots of twists and turns, albeit some like Buu appearing right as Merus did could lead room for improvement as they seem, not cliche but needed for story less from the story leading to it. That being said most twists were fantastic and did lead into one another, so just small improvements here and there. (Buu was still enjoyable, but could have been hinted at sooner) I think this is moving in a great direction going forward (as in other sagas) and it’s super nice to have much more consistent uploads from you. Thanks for your hard work, it’s felt and appreciated!
Imagine if, just as the Big Gete Star starts collapsing, Baby manages to claw his way out of the core, and speeds his way out to the surface… only for a Meta-Cooler hand to grasp him and drag him down back into the explosion. Now that would be a dinner date in hell.

"You were given the position as God of Destruction specifically to destroy things that threaten the balance of the universe, now the vast majority of Universe 7 has been eliminated, all while you were napping. What do you have to say for yourself?" "Yeah, but, like, sleeping is my thing. It's what I do and what everyone knows me for." "…You're fired, we're appointing Universe 7 a new God of Destruction effective immediately."
The finale for this little series has been quite bittersweet. Even because, if we think about it, Moro will be able to escape after the events that transpired. By destroying the Big Gete Star, Buu was also destroyed, and since he had absorbed the Daikaioshin and thus has his divine powers deep within him, the seal that the Daikaioshin used to seal off Moro’s powers broke with the destruction of Buu, and now Moro’s powers will slowly return like it happened in the manga.
On the flip side, Moro has way less to devour. He'll be strong, sure, but with 80% of the universe no longer present to be devoured, he loses a gigantic amount of energy. Assuming of course at some point his sealed prison wasn't on a planet the Big Gete Star consumed, thus being destroyed.
@@michaellevin664 Moro in this What If is still alive, considering he is imprisoned in the Galactic Patrol HQ like many other prisoners of the Galactic Patrol, so he’s still alive considering the HQ remained untouched by Baby and by the fight. But yes, with him having less to devour, things might not be too much dire. Key words, ‘too much’.
@@gameuniverse5973 At this point there's nothing for Beerus to handle. Dude's probably still fucking sleeping, if he's not dead due to Shin being a dumbass at some point or another and dying for it. And even if not, 80% of life gone without him intervening, leading to the death of an angel, is not gonna look good to Zeno and the Grand Priest. The story from here is likely U7 getting erased by Zeno unless the Saiyans wake up in the afterlife and use King Kai to find a planet that has Dragon Balls strong enough to start undoing what has been done. Which would only be the Super Dragon Balls. U7 is toast.
This saga needs to be fully animated. It deserves it. I did not expect Buu to throw a literal wrench in the works allowing Cooler to resume enough control to let Merus destroy the Big Gete Star. Sad that Goku, Vegeta, and Broly are dead and about 80% of Universe 7 is extinct but still a bittersweet ending. Beerus is so getting his ass fired by Zeno.
Honestly its such a genius writing to give merus some deserving highlights and the one to save the universe, as well as the inclusion of maijin buu to distract baby. And here i thought i would expect beerus vs baby but this is better than i could hope for. Big praise for the writing you make here

Meerus Angel Powers is more than enough to Kill Buu, mind you anytime Buu absorbs anyone he too has to get used to his newfound stolen powers, that's why he screwed around so much in his own Saga, he wanted to be entertained. On a lesser note, because virtually nothing could kill him but only contain him he found any sort of resistance amusing, causing him to let his guard down several times so anyone who fought him could obliterate him if the attack was strong enough.
As a Cooler fan, seeing the mini-series end is pretty sad, but the way he went out is nothing short of awesome, "If I can't have the universe, nobody can !"
You are such an incredible story teller. Never in my life did I expect to see a what if story on Merus, Majin buu, and Metal Cooler working together to take out baby. It was a wonderful ending but I wish that when you revealed Buu spread himself throughout metal cooler body that he also managed to get pieces of himself on everyone who got absorbed by baby thus allowing him to save them and possibly get them out of there considering he has the durability to survive planets blowing up
Fat buu is way different than super buu absorbing someone since super buu is mostly evil assuring that the result would be as well, meanwhile fat buu is naive and childish, so depends who get absorbed might be a good buu tbh.
Because not every dragon ball fan uses their brain fully, usually go for something that hypes up Goku or Vegeta or they come up with something that's just a drawn out, pointless power fantasy. People get drawn to those over the good stories a lot of the time- especially when a majority of the fans were still young and/or just getting into the series, and thus...they contribute to the idea that DB fans suck at writing.
Most what if creators have really bad stories. Look at most of salad saiyan's what ifs, most of them are "what if goku had a ___" or "what if goku was f*cking betrayed and trapped in the time chamber"
The amount of moving parts in this saga was unreal. It could have been a simple Merus or Beerus beats Baby, but the amount of clever usage of every characters' strength and weaknesses elevates this immensly. Definitely did not even consider Buu even once leading up to this part. Amazing.
Amazing! I love the way you put elements of GT and Super coexisting in the same universe, and I like you dont repeat the Beerus final boss and give Merus is moment to shine.
Buu being a hyperparasite was a really well thought twist. But now I'm curious: Why did Buu choose now to act? And why didn't the Supreme Kai do something?
Well think about it not only does buu need a lot of energy to be unsealed, he needs to contend with baby for the energy, and absorb something as massive as the big gete star that’s going to take a while
This^^ And the Supreme Kai doesn’t know that Buu’s seal was in the Big Gete Star, and even if he did, he isn’t strong enough to handle any of what was going on, and him getting involved would’ve arguably made things worse. I don’t think Kaioshin would’ve not noticed what was happening to his own universe, and would’ve probably started searching for help…or…at least that was one way of looking at what was happening. Edit: That and, don’t forget the moment he dies, Beerus dies. So it’s not a good plan to start moving around to help everyone fight off Metal Cooler.
this is also a supreme Kai who never met the z-fighters because of goku and vegeta losing to cooler who then ate earth. It's likely they just didn't care about them because until buu they had no reason to interact

Beerus: What could possibily ne so important...? Whis: Well, the Grand Minister and the Omni-King wish to hold an audience with us and the current Supreme Kai. Beerus: Meh... That's cu-... WAIT WHAT?! WHY NOW?! Whis: My lord... You will not believe what has happened since your slumber. *Beerus finding out about everything in this what else* Beerus: you mean that the universe is... Whis: Yep. Beerus:And your brother is... Whis: Yep Beerus: And now Grand Zeno wants too- Whis: As you suspect, Lord Beerus. Things are definitely not looking good. Beerus: Oh no...
in Zeno's Palace. Beerus: Great Zeno and..and I can explain. Zeno: You let 80% of the universe go extinct while you were sleeping, right? You know what's going to happen next, right?. Beerus: ggggGreat Zeno have mercy I prom...... and with a simple raise of his hand Beerus and Universe 7 were wiped out of existence. Zeno: One problem has been solved right?, what is the next universe that is having problems with low mortality?. Daishikan: I heard rumors that Universes 6 and 9 are having the same problem as Universe 7.
I like how in several ways Baby's downfall is similar to Goku Black's downfall in What If #19. Both being arrogant about facing their opponents, only for things to keep getting worse for them while they are locked out of any possibility of escaping, eventually becoming desperate and being destroyed completely screaming in terror
With Merus' Sacrifice, the Big Gete Star was destroyed once and for all. Cooler, seeing that being someone's slave wasn't cool at all, decided to sacrifice himself to send Baby and Majin Buu to hell with him, but at least he'll get compensation, the certainty that the Saiyans are 100% extinct and that he avenged Frieza's death, even if unintentionally, he'll basically go to hell happy.
The Eldric horror that this series has conveyed is incredible. It's somehow slipped into one of my other favorite genres, cosmic horror. Extremely good job. Id love to see this adapted into a manga or an animation.
This is what I love about everything Toei added to Dragon Ball, so many ideas and concepts that fill out literally the whole universe that make it feel so much bigger that canon has only recently begun to take advantage of. This channel taking advantage of hindsight is absolutely stellar and deserves all the credit for it.
There still Merus being erased due to his inaction. (Even if somehow the Super DB restore Merus, he going to be erased again since he still did broke Angel laws) He's cooked, maybe he could save U7 with that but his definitly going to be erased/replaced
It's sad that the galactic patrol will never get to fully restore the universe. Now that Merus died, the grand priest is going to investigate on his death. Once he sees the state of universe 7, Zeno is going to erase it asap
I don't know who I feel worse for: The trillions of souls that are going to be in a queue to enter Other World, or Yemma for having to DEAL with that trillions-long queue.
This series needs its own dedicated animation series, seriously, this was just way too good!!! Even if we never do, thank you so much for giving us this at the very least!
In the Moro saga Merus only got one punch off in Angel mode before being erased. I assume the reason why he lasted so much longer here is because even the Grand Priest realised the threat of Baby Cooler and saw to it that Merus was able to finish the job before erasure
Beerus is gonna wake up and find out almost his entire universe is gone hahaha i can only imagine how much Champa will make fun of that once he finds out
NICE conclusion to this saga. I love your writing. I even commented on a previous video asking why cooler didn't try using forced spirit fission to separate baby from him but I am glad this was answered.
The well-researched writing really adds layers to this and makes it worthwhile to watch in comparison to the many other fan-animations or stories on the net, well done.
I feel like there's something poetic in this finale, how it ultimately becomes a clash of the Dragonball Canons. Buu (Z/Original), Cooler (Movies), and Merus (Super), by coincidence and collaboration, fighting to defeat Baby (GT).

TBF, Goku & Vegeta were inside the Big Gete Star for decades most likely. Death was probably the best thing that could have happened to them at that point.

Yep, this was not a victory in any sense, nothing left. The only way the universe will be saved, is if Whis goes back in time and prevents this entire chapter. An Angel cannot interfere because is a neutral being, but, he can only under certain conditions. Maybe what happened is one of them.
@MilkmanThegamer-zp8phi feel like he self nerfs himself because time travel is very much against the rules, he could probably reverse time days, weeks, months, or even years but there are rules so.
Dude massive props for this series, it had an insane amount of twists for me that actually made sense and was actually enjoyable the entire way through. Loved every episode of it!
Fools With the level of Mortals below expectations, Zeno will not wait for Beerus to wake up so he can erase the existence of Universe 7, a mistake he will never forget.
Damn. The baby coola saga is over and not gonna lie i loved how much it a nasty turn. From bad to worst it was insanely fun and i hope we see more of those what if in the futur. Also i think wz can all agreed that this the most terrifying that baby ever was there. That giant head screaming madly at vegeta was horrifying.
Not to mention that this is the second time in a row that Baby got such a win using DBS lore. Hyourinjutsu must really like him. Also, he legit just turned into AM at that moment; heck, even worse. Vegeta literally did a Kars and stopped thinking; Baby was just screaming at a wall at that point.
This was… phenomenal. Honestly, I was expecting Merus and Universe 7 as a whole to fall, but this was an amazing way to conclude this series. I would kill to see an animated space fight between Merus and the billions of Meta soldiers. And Buu coming out of nowhere to stifle Baby’s progress both physically and mentally (by releasing Cooler), is such an ingenious idea. Honestly, what really sealed it was the ending, where Merus sacrifices themselves for Universe 7. The sprites, the action, the dialogue, all of it comes together for a bittersweet ending like no other. Merus’s canon death was already pretty good, but this blows it out of the water, and is the perfect demonstration of your writing skill. Tl;dr: So. Freaking. Good. Out of all the What-Elses, this is the one that I beg gets an animation. Bravo Hyourinjutsu, bravo.
I wished this series become an official series. This is the creativity. This is the way db should be. Somewhat little, dark. I like the story you create. I hope you continues it.

Well that was incredible. It almost felt like I was reading a horror story. This planet sized parasite, eating it's way through the galaxy. And when Merus showed up, I still had no idea if Baby would scrape a win after Merus disappeared. Absorbing Broly, all these insane abilities, Baby was almost unstoppable. Very very good. 10 out of 10 for me.
@@gameuniverse5973baby Vegito black would have the baby meta cooler beat in the strength department, but baby metal cooler is probably gonna win due to his sheer number of overwhelming army forces (like seriously 10 billion!?) and also his adaptability & force spirit fission
@@gameuniverse5973also let's not forget that baby Vegito black fusion only lasts 1 hour, and since they'll most likely be in a permanent tuffle super rosey state draining the timer, it will be even less. Baby meta cooler doesn't have this weakness so he could also just outlast BVB
@@SCP--qt4sq There is also the detail that each version of Baby Meta-Cooler knows how to use Instant Transmission, the replicas could teleport and hit Baby Black Vegetto from all directions until the fusion is separated. The only way fusion could win is if it manages to enter the star and destroy the core.
@@matiasmagresso7308 Vegetto also knows Instant Transmission, though he'll still have to go through every Cooler-Baby. I could definitely see BVB using his Tsufruian servants as meat-shields, though. Then again, they're both Baby, so they'd probably be homies instead.
What's funny is Baby winning would've been the better ending when you break it down. Merus just doomed Universe 7 by destorying the Big Gete Star, 80% of life in the universe vanished. Baby winning would've let him continue and ultimately complete his plan for all life to live on one planet keeping the mortal level intact. As it stands right now U7 is going to get erased by Zeno. And this event could produce an overwhelmingly powerful Janemba to make matters worse, the afterlife will now be overrun with quadrillions of souls arriving all at once something is bound to fuck up. Also Moro would be able to run around unopposed as well.
What a climatic finale to this saga, and here I thought the universe was doomed to a dark fate. I really like how Meerus was still remorseful in the end that he couldn't save everyone, it really shows his simple yet endearing love for life. I wonder how long was the Big Gete Star's conquest in terms of in-universe time. I want to imagine it's less than a year, since I feel Meerus would've stepped in sooner, but rumor hadn't spread fast enough yet since Baby was teleporting planet to planet. I hope Supreme Kai at least is still alive, he's gonna have a lot of work to do rebuilding life across the desolate universe, or maybe once Beerus wakes up he'll gather the Super Dragon Balls himself.
@@neo676 As long as Zeno didn't notice the _catastrophic_ drop in mortal level, Universe 7 should be fine for at least 10 years or so, enough time to gather the Super Dragon Balls at least
@@Genra Also, I figure the Grand Priest might take the sacrifice of his son into account and carry out any orders he gets ... in his own way. Hopefully the Super Dragon Balls can help or the Galactic Patrol can reverse-engineer some of that dormant Tuffle technology that was Baby's Meta-soldiers and vastly improve the quality of life in Universe Seven over time. The Tuffles needn't leave a terrible legacy, and perhaps they could do some good in saving other lives where they could not save themselves. By the time Zeno or the Grand Priest notices what is going on, they can hold a Tournament or some decision-making situation to decide that Universe's fate, and those of the others.

Wow, what a great end to such an interesting story. Hold up, my throat is killing me from reading aloud as Baby during his lines. [drinking water] Now then, this conclusion was absolutely outstanding. I enjoyed reading through it all and visually imagining the journey as it progressed. A fascinating tale to be told indeed. I like these little scenarios that can be expanded into an entire narrative as it shows the creativity that fans of the franchise can do and the love they have for it.
9:25 It's scary that just one Metal Cooler is enough for Buu. That just goes to show how incredibly powerful he's become over time. How strong will just one Metal Cooler be? On the level of the current Goku Blue?
Vegeta might get a pass for heaven as being in the big geta star for years might be seen as enough to atone for his sins and I see Goku voucing for him
I found this saga to be incredible Hyourin! I feel like while this could have worked as a What-If, the saga was not as action filled as to warrant it being animated, and thus I feel that this truly could only thrive as a What-Else. To think all the canons (minus heroes) of DB co-existed in tandem, with you taking concepts both common and lost to time across all these DB canons!
Honestly, by far one of the best "series" you've done in a while, it would've been great to see it animated. It ended on a bittersweet note but i can't help but think about something... Earth is gone, goku and vegeta along with buu and the rest. So there aren't many strong people on the "good" side aside from the Kaioshins and the Galactic Patrol. So with Metal cooler and baby gone, along with Merus's sacrifice, that leaves No one to possibly keep Moro in check if he breaks free. No one, aside from beerus of course.
This was the most nightmarish story of events ive seen in DB. At least on Trunks timeline every1 died instantly. Here they were all slaves/deprived of will to baby. The scenes in this series gave me DBZ tree of might Atmosphere vibes, very gloomy, dark, hopeless feeling. Crazy to think Coolers pride would be babys downfall. The reserve spirit fission is the CRAZIEST part, dude pulled of a Kimblee(FMA vs pride)!!!!
What a bittersweet ending. One thing im thinking about is that U7 may get erased by Zeno. In the actual canon timeline U7 was already the second lowest of all universes. This complete tragedy will DEFINITELY put them dead last by a wide margin and even get the attention of Zeno. Beerus is strong but is complete ass at his job.

Peak cinema and an amazing end to this Metal Cooler Arc, bravo! Also I'm pretty happy I predicted that Buu would get involved, even if he's too weak :)
I really hope whis who shin who was watching everything just contacts whis wakes beerus and uses the super dragon balls to restore everything, but damn this ending had me in tears
I never knew how well cosmic Eldritch horror would fit the DB universe but this was phenomenally done, it really did a great job of getting darker and darker and slowly more hopeless until the end and Cooler suddenly taking over and deciding that if he couldn't have it, that he damn sure wasn't going to let Baby have it either and taking the whole thing down with him was a really cool twist. It's bittersweet but at least Goku and Vegeta had some form of peace in the end, if we're going by accurate timelines they were trapped in the Big Gete Star for 20 years or so, forced to watch as Cooler and Baby ravaged the universe and lord knows how bad it got after Baby took over, and it's made even more bitter with the reminder that the two of them singlehandedly wiped out 80% of life in the universe, making them pop on Zeno's radar. Great series, I need more DB horror stuff in my life because it's such a great contrast to the usual action packed fighting, Merus' battle really felt like a true struggle for survival, like the stakes were insanely high and it was all on him.
I really like do enjoy these cool little What If slideshow videos, especially how you’ve stylized them. Gives me nostalgic GBA vibes. And I’m sure it lightens the load on you animation wise. I do however really want to see Baby Meta-Cooler in a Sprite battle, perhaps against Frieza or Buu? Just a though, keep up the great work as always.
This series has been really great! I really wish this is the type of what-ifs we could have gotten in Sparking Zero! The usage of a large number of Dragon Ball elements and lore coming together in a giant "what-if" us just so exciting! Thanks so much for the entire series!

The finale for this little series has been quite bittersweet. Even because, if we think about it, Moro will be able to escape after the events that transpired. By destroying the Big Gete Star, Buu was also destroyed, and since he had absorbed the Daikaioshin and thus has his divine powers deep within him, the seal that the Daikaioshin used to seal off Moro’s powers broke with the destruction of Buu, and now Moro’s powers will slowly return like it happened in the manga.
On the flip side, Moro has way less to devour. He'll be strong, sure, but with 80% of the universe no longer present to be devoured, he loses a gigantic amount of energy.
Assuming of course at some point his sealed prison wasn't on a planet the Big Gete Star consumed, thus being destroyed.

The story from here is likely U7 getting erased by Zeno unless the Saiyans wake up in the afterlife and use King Kai to find a planet that has Dragon Balls strong enough to start undoing what has been done. Which would only be the Super Dragon Balls.

I did not expect Buu to throw a literal wrench in the works allowing Cooler to resume enough control to let Merus destroy the Big Gete Star. Sad that Goku, Vegeta, and Broly are dead and about 80% of Universe 7 is extinct but still a bittersweet ending. Beerus is so getting his ass fired by Zeno.

Meerus Angel Powers is more than enough to Kill Buu, mind you anytime Buu absorbs anyone he too has to get used to his newfound stolen powers, that's why he screwed around so much in his own Saga, he wanted to be entertained. On a lesser note, because virtually nothing could kill him but only contain him he found any sort of resistance amusing, causing him to let his guard down several times so anyone who fought him could obliterate him if the attack was strong enough.

You are such an incredible story teller. Never in my life did I expect to see a what if story on Merus, Majin buu, and Metal Cooler working together to take out baby. It was a wonderful ending but I wish that when you revealed Buu spread himself throughout metal cooler body that he also managed to get pieces of himself on everyone who got absorbed by baby thus allowing him to save them and possibly get them out of there considering he has the durability to survive planets blowing up

It baffles me that people think dragon ball fans can't make a good story, this man has proven it over and over with lore additions and plot twists
Because not every dragon ball fan uses their brain fully, usually go for something that hypes up Goku or Vegeta or they come up with something that's just a drawn out, pointless power fantasy.
People get drawn to those over the good stories a lot of the time- especially when a majority of the fans were still young and/or just getting into the series, and thus...they contribute to the idea that DB fans suck at writing.
Most what if creators have really bad stories. Look at most of salad saiyan's what ifs, most of them are "what if goku had a ___" or "what if goku was f*cking betrayed and trapped in the time chamber"

The amount of moving parts in this saga was unreal. It could have been a simple Merus or Beerus beats Baby, but the amount of clever usage of every characters' strength and weaknesses elevates this immensly. Definitely did not even consider Buu even once leading up to this part. Amazing.

Buu being a hyperparasite was a really well thought twist. But now I'm curious: Why did Buu choose now to act? And why didn't the Supreme Kai do something?
Well think about it not only does buu need a lot of energy to be unsealed, he needs to contend with baby for the energy, and absorb something as massive as the big gete star that’s going to take a while

And the Supreme Kai doesn’t know that Buu’s seal was in the Big Gete Star, and even if he did, he isn’t strong enough to handle any of what was going on, and him getting involved would’ve arguably made things worse. I don’t think Kaioshin would’ve not noticed what was happening to his own universe, and would’ve probably started searching for help…or…at least that was one way of looking at what was happening.
Edit: That and, don’t forget the moment he dies, Beerus dies. So it’s not a good plan to start moving around to help everyone fight off Metal Cooler.

I like how in several ways Baby's downfall is similar to Goku Black's downfall in What If #19. Both being arrogant about facing their opponents, only for things to keep getting worse for them while they are locked out of any possibility of escaping, eventually becoming desperate and being destroyed completely screaming in terror
Funny thing in both cases gokus body baby and ultra instinct were involved in their downfall
With Merus' Sacrifice, the Big Gete Star was destroyed once and for all.
Cooler, seeing that being someone's slave wasn't cool at all, decided to sacrifice himself to send Baby and Majin Buu to hell with him, but at least he'll get compensation, the certainty that the Saiyans are 100% extinct and that he avenged Frieza's death, even if unintentionally, he'll basically go to hell happy.
The Eldric horror that this series has conveyed is incredible. It's somehow slipped into one of my other favorite genres, cosmic horror. Extremely good job. Id love to see this adapted into a manga or an animation.

This is what I love about everything Toei added to Dragon Ball, so many ideas and concepts that fill out literally the whole universe that make it feel so much bigger that canon has only recently begun to take advantage of. This channel taking advantage of hindsight is absolutely stellar and deserves all the credit for it.

In the Moro saga Merus only got one punch off in Angel mode before being erased. I assume the reason why he lasted so much longer here is because even the Grand Priest realised the threat of Baby Cooler and saw to it that Merus was able to finish the job before erasure

This was… phenomenal.
Honestly, I was expecting Merus and Universe 7 as a whole to fall, but this was an amazing way to conclude this series. I would kill to see an animated space fight between Merus and the billions of Meta soldiers. And Buu coming out of nowhere to stifle Baby’s progress both physically and mentally (by releasing Cooler), is such an ingenious idea.
Honestly, what really sealed it was the ending, where Merus sacrifices themselves for Universe 7. The sprites, the action, the dialogue, all of it comes together for a bittersweet ending like no other. Merus’s canon death was already pretty good, but this blows it out of the water, and is the perfect demonstration of your writing skill.
Tl;dr: So. Freaking. Good. Out of all the What-Elses, this is the one that I beg gets an animation. Bravo Hyourinjutsu, bravo.
I wished this series become an official series. This is the creativity. This is the way db should be. Somewhat little, dark. I like the story you create. I hope you continues it.

What's funny is Baby winning would've been the better ending when you break it down. Merus just doomed Universe 7 by destorying the Big Gete Star, 80% of life in the universe vanished. Baby winning would've let him continue and ultimately complete his plan for all life to live on one planet keeping the mortal level intact. As it stands right now U7 is going to get erased by Zeno.
And this event could produce an overwhelmingly powerful Janemba to make matters worse, the afterlife will now be overrun with quadrillions of souls arriving all at once something is bound to fuck up. Also Moro would be able to run around unopposed as well.
In DBS zeno would have erased U7 anyway bcs of the fact that u7 has the second lowest mortality rate so they are doomed regardless

I really like how Meerus was still remorseful in the end that he couldn't save everyone, it really shows his simple yet endearing love for life.
I wonder how long was the Big Gete Star's conquest in terms of in-universe time. I want to imagine it's less than a year, since I feel Meerus would've stepped in sooner, but rumor hadn't spread fast enough yet since Baby was teleporting planet to planet.
I hope Supreme Kai at least is still alive, he's gonna have a lot of work to do rebuilding life across the desolate universe, or maybe once Beerus wakes up he'll gather the Super Dragon Balls himself.

Hopefully the Super Dragon Balls can help or the Galactic Patrol can reverse-engineer some of that dormant Tuffle technology that was Baby's Meta-soldiers and vastly improve the quality of life in Universe Seven over time. The Tuffles needn't leave a terrible legacy, and perhaps they could do some good in saving other lives where they could not save themselves. By the time Zeno or the Grand Priest notices what is going on, they can hold a Tournament or some decision-making situation to decide that Universe's fate, and those of the others.

Wow, what a great end to such an interesting story. Hold up, my throat is killing me from reading aloud as Baby during his lines. [drinking water] Now then, this conclusion was absolutely outstanding. I enjoyed reading through it all and visually imagining the journey as it progressed. A fascinating tale to be told indeed. I like these little scenarios that can be expanded into an entire narrative as it shows the creativity that fans of the franchise can do and the love they have for it.

I found this saga to be incredible Hyourin! I feel like while this could have worked as a What-If, the saga was not as action filled as to warrant it being animated, and thus I feel that this truly could only thrive as a What-Else. To think all the canons (minus heroes) of DB co-existed in tandem, with you taking concepts both common and lost to time across all these DB canons!

Earth is gone, goku and vegeta along with buu and the rest. So there aren't many strong people on the "good" side aside from the Kaioshins and the Galactic Patrol. So with Metal cooler and baby gone, along with Merus's sacrifice, that leaves No one to possibly keep Moro in check if he breaks free. No one, aside from beerus of course.
On top of that u7 is 100% getting erased by zeno bcs of u7 having the secound lowest mortality rate and bcs of the antics cooler and baby did
This was the most nightmarish story of events ive seen in DB.
At least on Trunks timeline every1 died instantly. Here they were all slaves/deprived of will to baby. The scenes in this series gave me DBZ tree of might Atmosphere vibes, very gloomy, dark, hopeless feeling.
Crazy to think Coolers pride would be babys downfall. The reserve spirit fission is the CRAZIEST part, dude pulled of a Kimblee(FMA vs pride)!!!!
What a bittersweet ending. One thing im thinking about is that U7 may get erased by Zeno. In the actual canon timeline U7 was already the second lowest of all universes. This complete tragedy will DEFINITELY put them dead last by a wide margin and even get the attention of Zeno. Beerus is strong but is complete ass at his job.
This wasn't just Beerus' job too though, Shin is at fault as well for not calling Whis sooner.

This was literally a full what if series and it was amazing. This is a totally new story to me and the surprises at the end were definitely unexpected
I really hope whis who shin who was watching everything just contacts whis wakes beerus and uses the super dragon balls to restore everything, but damn this ending had me in tears
I've never thougth i would see Merus, Buu and Cooler fighting alongside that was really surprising
I never knew how well cosmic Eldritch horror would fit the DB universe but this was phenomenally done, it really did a great job of getting darker and darker and slowly more hopeless until the end and Cooler suddenly taking over and deciding that if he couldn't have it, that he damn sure wasn't going to let Baby have it either and taking the whole thing down with him was a really cool twist.
It's bittersweet but at least Goku and Vegeta had some form of peace in the end, if we're going by accurate timelines they were trapped in the Big Gete Star for 20 years or so, forced to watch as Cooler and Baby ravaged the universe and lord knows how bad it got after Baby took over, and it's made even more bitter with the reminder that the two of them singlehandedly wiped out 80% of life in the universe, making them pop on Zeno's radar.
Great series, I need more DB horror stuff in my life because it's such a great contrast to the usual action packed fighting, Merus' battle really felt like a true struggle for survival, like the stakes were insanely high and it was all on him.

I really like do enjoy these cool little What If slideshow videos, especially how you’ve stylized them. Gives me nostalgic GBA vibes. And I’m sure it lightens the load on you animation wise. I do however really want to see Baby Meta-Cooler in a Sprite battle, perhaps against Frieza or Buu? Just a though, keep up the great work as always.
This is your best work to date, and I can't wait to see this fully animated in the future
