i sure did enjoy this video im 72 yrs old and have restored several 68 to 72 chevy trucks ,and what i liked about your videos ,you didn't use any loud music over riding the video ......you do a very good job on your videos, keep up the videos we enjoy them very much
I finally had the chance to finish watching this, and want to thank you for taking the time to film it, and to the gentleman for allowing it. What an absolutely fascinating documentation. I am particularly in awe of his MG "Cobra" - oh man I would love to own that!
One guy can only have so mutch yunk ore treasure its a shame he doesnt sell he can make a lot of oldtimer lovers happy and keeping them oldies on the road still great yard 👍
It’s interesting, I’ve seen hoarders who refused to get rid of things , then as the years pass, their collections just go to the scrap heap. I hope this fellow sells the junkers or parts before the crusher comes calling
"Fat guy´s gonna have to stay in the truck"... there´s nothing like the serene calm of experienced discernment! Great video! Even though I waited for some old Porsches I feel richly rewarded for the life-long collection we see here compiled over generations. The Buick taxonomy (Special, Century, Super and Roadmaster) will carry me through many a conversation with American car fans here in Germany!! Many thanks to all of you! Stay happy and healthy!
His yard or where you get all these cars part looks nice and clean it well taken care of and he knows where every one of these cars coming from great memory
That gentleman is sitting on a gold mine, I seen a few things that caught my eye. Yes I'd like to see more videos like this one. Thanks for taking us along. See ya on the next video ✌️
Sure would love to get together and get one of those old cars i am 68.. years old now and I would like to put one more older cars together before my time is up if I had a old car to work on it would keep me going in life
I'm nearly 61. I haven't built a project for some time, and I'd really like to do one or two more. Maybe a few. I think I still have some good mileage left in me.
exactly Tom. Me too. But the guys like this hoarder here kinda ruin it, they let the cars rot until they die or the cars are beyond restoration with few good parts. Shameful to even watch these videos anymore.
Good relaxing video, great job. Love to wander the ol’ junk yards and hear the stories. You just don’t see much of the old stuff out n’ around any more, they crushed a lot of ‘em when steel prices went up a few years ago. Hats off to your buddy Ray for having us all over to check things out. Thanks man!
Lotta nice old iron on that property, I heard you mention Shreveport I got to spend a couple weeks at Barksdale it was amazing watching those giant planes take off and come in to land, I used to park down at the end of the runway to get under them. CHEERS from Jacksonville Florida 🌞
the storys rey tells with honesty and he makes his story very interesting i can listen to him all day you can imagine him as a young kid workin with his dad under that lift in his old shop
There a LOT of VIABLE projects in that Gentleman's collection. I wish he would open the gates and help the younger generation learn where the passion for building project cars, comes from! From within! If enjoyed in moderation, its a whole new world!
He's got an encyclopedic knowledge of 550 vehicles on his property as an elder and i can't even remember where i left my keys after just putting them down. Fantastic tour!
Ironically enough, I was literally supposed to be working on my project this afternoon, but instead I was sitting on my ass, watching this video. Now it's almost dark and I'm going out to work on my project now
That was cool. I love seeing old junkyards. There are a lot of nice vehicles in them. I got a thing for old Ford’s galaxy 500 63/64. Had a chance to get one one time but my dad nixed the idea. They only wanted couple hundred for it and it was clean. Of course I was a lot closer to the age thing. It was 70 something then. Still casually looking for one.
Hey pudding. Iv been watching you channel for about a year now. Me and my wife had a baby girl in June and the first thing she see on tv was you lol. She now loves your channel as much as me and my wife. So while I’m waiting for a new video we are catching up on your old videos as try daughter chills out when your on tv. Thanks for all your videos and the way your such a good family man and a great dad.
That was a fun trip. Ray must have a ton of stories. Please extend my thanks to Ray for allowing us to tour his collection. I agree, the fat guy would need to stay in the truck. 😜
Going to learn about cars , truck & fabrication upcoming year or so. It’s just so great to see these cars that do have someone to tell the story absolutely astonishing
I've got much love for Ray and his collection. The man has a large bit of everything and knows the stories behind most of them. If he ever gets a wild hair to sell any of those, I sure wouldn't mind talking with him about the Willys Wagon. I have a project in mind for one of those.
Personally, I love the stories as much as the cars. Even if I don't "love" a vehicle at first, a good story can change all that. This was an awesome episode. Thanks.
Love that MGA with the 350. Love the Cobra and all, but (like you) I'd rather have something that's just a bit different - and that certainly qualifies, for sure! There was a lot that Ray has there that was doable. Just depends on a buyer's motivation and how deep their pockets are, but some look like they could even still drive out of there......after you dig the wheels out the holes! Great vid - love walking around old collections and hearing the stories - its the stories that inspire people to take them on as a project, because it makes the car more real, I think, and they want to be part if the car's history. That's what does it for me anyway!
Love looking through old yards. The stories help make it unique! It’s great that he still has all that old iron. Several around us got cleared out when scrap went crazy high a few years back.
A very original hairstyle! The guy has an odd way of keeping his collection of cars, the Jaguar XK120and the Austin Healeys 3.5 sports cars are very sought after, but they are rotting away, not to mention all the other classic cars that are going the same way. The guy is a true excentric !
Really enjoyed the salvage yard with y'all. I really thought the owner was cool. But my favorite was the 65 Chevy wagon near the end of the video.. Awesome ride.thanks looking forward to more content soon.

The dancing is killer🤣 and I've seen some of your first videos up to where you are it's almost like 2 different people. I'm happy for you and your family, keep shaking the haters off!
hi there, just found you, not sure how. Loved hearing his stories. We often tune out old timers tell their stories then wish we had really listened and paid attention to them after they have passed away. My grandfather joined the service at 16 way back before they really checked birth certificates. Now he is gone and i am kicking myself in the ass for never really listening. Thanks for sharing.

I understand that. No good when they get crushed out!
If the "hoarders" hadn't saved them, they would have been fed to the crusher a LONG time ago.
@@KameraShy It doesn't matter if they get scrapped in 10 years or 50, they're still scrapped, and that's the issue.
