    I just wanted to point out that I am very happy with the USA-available sister product, the Flashpoint Rovelight RL-600B. I use it with Pixel King HSS triggers for my Sony a6000.

    Will ATG/Jinbei be coming out with a new radio trigger?
    The one shown has drawback because photographer has no ideal what power was set when pushing those buttons on transmitter. It's not a good as ATG/Godox radio triggers.

    Hi There, I am planning to use 2 of these strobes Jinbei 600 HD, to shoot products, do I need to get a separate trigger/transmitter to fire them or will they still work with the, or will they work with TRS/V hotshot system that comes with it.

      $500 with battery for the Bowens mount version. Stellar deal, considering the pricey alternatives.

    Maybe did not explain myself well enough in the last post, but as I plan using 2 of these strobes simultaneously, can it be done with the trigger system supplied with the product or do I need to purchase a separate trigger/transmitter system to incorporate both strobes firing simultaneously, many thanks for you understanding.

    3:42 Charge Mode. The explanation is not correct. The snail and the rabbit symbol do not represent the charge mode of the battery but the charge mode of the capacitors of the flash. The snail means the flash is charged more slowly which will save some battery. The rabbit means it charges very fast for consecutive shooting which drains more battery.

      I guess you talking about the regular optical slave mode. I just set the Jinbei to the eye symbol with lashes, then trigger my speedlight with a transmitter. The Jinbei was able to flash with the speedlight. I also tried setting the speedlight to fire 5 times per second for 2 seconds at 1/16 power. The Jinbei's regular optical slave mode was able to fire with the speedlight(I also had the Jinbei set at 1/16 power).

    dear @Mixuleppis
    hi im ZANU from Indonesia ... I bought this Jinbei end of 2015 ago and I just realized I bought the first series hd 600 Jinbei this. whether this series can hss ??? because I had to be tough meticulous writing beside his lcd hd Jinbei Jinbei hd600 with 600v is different ???. I clay they are making a video tutorial for using the HSS by pressing the "multi" and "sett" at once. and I try in Jinbei hd 600 I can not, but I was tough with the state of his death my lcd clayey its symbol HSS was between images batrey and rabbit. but like where to use it? if it can not or like what? but I could use it to make Jibei HSS is so slave with the help of Canon Speedlite 560II as master. if anyone could help me? I use a Canon 6D camera with the help of a trigger "king pro 3rd pixel"

    • @angelisone
      @angelisone 8 лет назад +1

      +zanu maksum Canon doesn't make Canon 560 II flash.
      At the same time, Pixel doesn't make king pro 3rd pixel. But they do make Pixel King Pro (requests for 3rd generation).
      Did you read my comments, above & tried it out?
      Turn the Jinbei HD600 to maximum power.
      Set camera to "M", then increase your Shutter Speed.
      Are you in Jakarta?
      Happy shooting.

  • @angelisone
    @angelisone 9 лет назад

    Jinbei makes in two versions, Canon & Nikon.
    You must know which radio transmitter that you want.
    You can always get another say if you already have a Canon, but now want to use Nikon.
    The camera's hotshoe contact pins are difference from Canon & Nikon.
    To shoot in HSS (Canon) or Auto FP (Nikon):
    A. Mount the Jinbei Canon radio transmitter on camera hotshoe.
    - Go into camera flash's menu and set it to HSS.
    B. Mount the Jinbei Nikon radio transmitter on camera hotshoe.
    - Go into camera flash's menu and you must set to Auto FP, which is Nikon HSS.
    If you don't the Shutter Speed can not be turned above 200/250.
    If you are in USA, then Adorama and B&H Photo are carrying these with the suggestions from ATG.
    Many are going for this over the Profoto B1, Godox Wistros AD360 & Paul C. Buff Eiestein.

      I use a Canon 6D with trigger "king pro 3rd pixel" but I could not use Jinbei hd 600 first series for HSS mode! if it can not .. HSS it works only for Jinbei HD 600 II alone? or indeed could but I just do not know how to use it! Can you help me?????

    • @angelisone
      @angelisone 8 лет назад +1

      +zanu maksum You are correct the first model can't do true HSS.
      But you can still get over 250 to 8000 sync with the first model.
      - On the radio (King Pro 3rd) receiver, open the rubber cover.
      You will need a Male PC Sync to 1/4" Phono Cable.
      - Insert Male PC Sync to Female PC Sync Socket on King Pro.
      - Insert 1/4" Phono Cable into Jinbei's SYNC port.
      - Set Jinbei to maximum power of 600ws.
      - Go into the Canon's flash menu & set to HSS.
      - Set camera to "M", where you can adjust Aperture and Shutter.
      - Pixel King Pro transmitter must be on Canon's hotshoe & turned on.
      - Turn Pixel King Pro receiver on as well as Jinbei.
      - Dial the Shutter Speed beyond 200.
      - Dial your F Stop if too bright (overexposed).
      - Or Leave F stop wide open & dial Shutter Speed up to 8000.
      ATG showed thousand of photographers this trick.
      Let me know your outcome.

    Hi Regarding HHS for canon we can use Yongnuo YN-622C or Yongnuo YN-622C TX please advice if both work ok thanks

    • @angelisone
      @angelisone 9 лет назад +1

      sohail nazish You can use ATG's YN-622C (using Canon) or YN622N (using Nikon).
      You will not get TTL.
      You' ll only get flash (Jinbei) radio trigger with YN-622 on camera while other YN-622 with PC Sync Cable to Jinbei.
      Just like using Pocket Wizard Plus series.
      You have to walk up to Jinbei to adjust power.
      But when using YN-622, you can power Jinbei up and dial Shutter Speed beyond 200 (1/200), like up to 8000.
      If you are using Jinbei's radio transmitter (included), then you can adjust the Jinbei power up & down manually by radio (no need to walk up to Jinbei).
      This is ATG's awesome radio trigger manual adjustable powerhouse portable light like ATG's Godox AD360 with FT-16 radio trigger. Both have a nice feature of what Pocket Wizard & YN can not do.
      FYI:
      HSS - Canon is built/mod by ATG using camera's flash menus. You must set camera flash menu to "HSS"
      Auto FP - Nikon camera's flash setting must be set into "Auto FP"
      Then adjust Jinbei power up or down by Jinbei radio transmitter.
      Or walk up to Jinbei to adjust power and use other radio trigger (receiver must have 1/4" PC Sync Cable to Jinbei)
      ATG's lights are what many reviewers & forums DO NOT want you to know or buy.
      They want you to buy Profoto B1, Phottix Indra500, or Pocket Wizard products when ATG's are great & very affordable for all photographers.
      ATG says if the flash is not triggering with the Jinbei's radio transmitter, reset or take out/install or just change the battery from transmitter.
      ATG says if you have a walking tripod, you can shoot and get blazing flash recycle time over the B1/Indra500.
      At the same time not throwing $3,000.00 USD to supports P&P.
      ATG says they have sold more of this model (as well as Godox AD360) than B1 & Indra500 because the black transmitter is only $40.00 USD rather than $500.00.
      Look at scamming & forget to tell you, B&H Photo:
      they are giving a $400-500 rebates for Profoto B1
      once the flash arrived, you found out it CAN NOT do wireless radio TTL at all!.
      you are now upset when B&H Photo wants to donate $500 more and they will be happy to send you on.
      this is the scam that Profoto are using that got B&H Photo because photographers are returning it back for a full refund and get the ATG's (when you buy, everything included).

      Hi, this is quite old model now so not sure if I can help that much. I did a quick image search on google and tried to find online stores that would still sell the product. Found at least one store that lets you at least add the product to cart but not sure if they still have it in stock. You may wanna just go trough different online stores by this way first and try to ask on forums.

    You didn't show how to use the wireless radio with HD600 by pressing the wireless radio transmitter.

    • @angelisone
      @angelisone 9 лет назад

      I think one would like to see the radio transmitter on the camera instead on a flash's mount stand.
      In this video, you can't radio flash sync the Jinbei HD600 when you press the camera's shutter button because all cameras have no wireless radio built-in transmitter.
      I like to know about the Jinbei HD 600 II, can you use the Jinbei TRS (radio transmitter) to set HSS?
      The Jinbei HD-600 & HD-600 II (HSS) are believed to be a better buy than Godox Wistro AD360 for shear power. But the Godox FT-16 (transmitter) has LCD display for adjustment.
      If Jinbei can come up with TTL or at least ATG Auto Modes, then they would hurt Profoto B1, Phottix Indra 500, Quantum Trio, Metz 76MZ-5 and Godox/CheetahLight AD360.
      I would suggest to not fast charge any rechargeable battery.
      Fast charging will degrade the battery /or kill the battery really quick.
      Profoto B1 battery died after three weeks of fast charging. Returned & got a full refund.
      Jinbei HD-600 series are less than buying Adorama's Flashpoint RL600.
      Both are the same.
      Jinbei make it for many camera stores which many photographers are not aware.
      Well done, on the showing us on how to use & set-up.

    • @angelisone
      @angelisone 9 лет назад

      *****
      The Jinbei comes in two battery pack models, Jenbei HD-600 & HD II-600 (HSS).
      You are correct there no information nor support from Jinbei.
      Many monolights & Pocket Wizard say they can do HSS (Canon) or Auto FP (Nikon) but it is not true HSS like Canon.
      They are using Hype-Sync, HSS, Super-Sync meaning nothing except the light is set into full manual power and you can adjust the shutter speed above 200/250 and F-stop.
      They are not really true HSS.
      Even the Profoto B1 ($3,000.00) can not do true HSS.
      You will need to get ATG Gold flashes or monolight to get true HSS.
      Again, both the HD II-600 & HD-600 are better than many Broncolor, Profoto, Photogengic, Godox Wistro AD360 and Canon 600EX-RT lights because it comes with a transmitter and can do wireless radio adjustable flash power adjustment right from the wireless radio transmitter.
      Try this on your HD-600:
      Set the power to 1/1 (full manual power)
      Park the transmitter on camera hotshoe.
      Set camera to "M" (dial)
      Set shutter to 200 or 250.
      Press the shutter, you should see normal flash sync.
      Shutter to 500 or higher, you'll see black banding.
      Now, crank HD-600 into 1/1
      Press & fire the camera, 500 or higher will light up the full images.
      You want to achieve a full light on the images.
      If it is too white (overexposed), then that's good, just increase the F-Stop on the lenses.
