My little sundown audio sa8v3 hits really good for a single 8 inch sub. I was very impressed with it. I have it in a ported box tuned for 35hz with a sundown sae600D amp at 1 ohms. I can't imagine what all those 8s sounded like in that van. lol

It's just the camera microphone making things sound different. Much like blowing into a mic with your breath, even though your surroundings don't sound bad at all, the second you blow into the mic it sounds like a windy mess.
Could you sometime shoot the video farther away from the car first, like walk towards the car while the song is playing? It would be nice to hear how the sound changes with the distance.
