I've been told that Dynastar M-Tour 99 is exactly the same ski as Rossignol Escaper Nano 97, minus the topsheet graphic of course. And based on third party measurements of length, weight. And flex pattern data from sooth ski, I'm inclined to believe that's true.
I don't think that's true. I believe M-Tour evolved from the Mythic (which I own), while I suspect the Escaper comes from the Black Ops lineage. In any case, their geometry is different, and if you look at the photos on their respective sites, the shaped metal layer is very different in both skis. I'm a fan of the Mythic and was looking forward to trying out the new Dynastars, but unfortunately they weren't available at the time of testing
