This wonderful cellist is just oozing talent out of her fingertips. Do you that cadenza. The exquisite tone of her cello. Such clarity in this excellent orchestra. The conductor has good control if the Orchestra. Perfect recording. What a Concerto! The tone of that cello is like fine silk. Do you hear the depth in the low range?! Mighty impressed. The sound of this cello is so incredible it must be miked. What cello is it? Incredible playing from such a young player. Great things ahead! Edit: I see microphones all over the place, so I guess the cello is miked, But it still sounds amazing and so does the young player powering it.
why does a good tone have to be miked?
Vadim Bakker it doesn’t have to be miked. It shouldn’t be miked. But as I said, there are mics all around and so it’s obvious she was mikes.
PTCello oh yeah they were just recording. In this world miked usually means miked on the instrument, and its hard to pull that of without killing all tone.
