Even if I'm Canadian I remember the story of this girl who was ''victim'' of her control freak mom. Being in her shoes, what would you do or I do? To tell you the truth, I'm happy that she's out of jail. She was 2 times in jail, the first one was with her mother and the 2nd one was in a real jail. I think she needed to go in a readaptation center instead of jail. She needed to take control of herself mentally and physically.
Yes, but this is the US where any one inconvenient to society is thrown behind bars because the prison system is a business.
