    You can always remove the dripless lines and hold them up higher then the sea chest and it will never leak no remember to tie them up if not it could sink the boat.

    I have an older V-Drive cruiser with what appears to be first generation of SureSeal and stbd is leaking.
    Mine port and stbd doesn't have a spare seal on shaft so looking like I'll have to pull props, decouple shafts from transmission and slide it back far enough to install a replacements. Anyway to confirm if mine is SureSeal or another company's drip-less system?

    Why didn't you use the red seal protector when u slid it down the shaft?

      Mostly because I don't have a red seal protector:)

    I bought these to replace the regular bronze shaft seals that are packed with wax packing.because I thought 🤔 they were better.. paying nearly two thousand dollars for the set..and I am now watching these videos of these failing and it's scaring the shite out of me... I've installed these and now I'm considering.. seriously considering removing them and reinstalling the old ones..
