Im a hunter for almost 40 years now. For people disagreeing with this i get that its not a difficult "hunt". I think its more of a novelty really. Raising Bison may not be super profitable,so this could be a way of adding value to it. Obviously they would have been butchered for meat. So instead of corralling tbem up in mass, and dispatching them. Let an interested person walk the property, and harvest one with a bow. Its really a win ,win. The hunter will have a very unique experience, and trophy. The animal is harvested not just at no cost to the owners, but at an additional profit.
Now its not really something i would personally be interested in, but i think its a creative way to keep bison a part of American culture,so i applaud it.

The very same thing as shooting a dairy cow on a farm. That buffalo was probably bottle fed at one time.

@@TexasHuntLodgeTHL , don’t get me wrong, I think it’s great. I wish I could get people with lots of money to come and pay to shoot cows I’d raised. I’m just jealous, is all.

Bad shoot placement. Train more before hunting, the animal doesn't need to suffer
