Does Larry ever discuss his opinion on riding and training bitless? I'm not sure these exercises would be as effective bitless, but I hope to keep my youngster bit-free if at all possible.
Our techniques work for both bit and bitless, if it doesn't work going back and forth, it is not a sound training technique. I have had people who choose to go bitless and it is just fine, but we have reasons why we use a snaffle.

Riding bitless is fine. Bit or no bit has nothing to do with correct training. If it doesn’t work bitless then the basics are missing
