- Join us at Chateau de Puy Vidal for a taste of what the artists are experiencing here at CHASING THE LIGHT- a week-long artistic immersion into the Impressionism Movement taught by artist Peter Keegan. He is leading our 11 attending artists into an in-depth exploration of Impressionist techniques, mindsets, and strategies. We have created an homage to Paul Cezanne in our Grand Salon at the Chateau to create an atmosphere that immerses one in a different era.
If you are seeing this before the end of the workshop, please join us virtually by Painting Along with us and submit your finished work by Friday, May 24th at noon Paris time. Send us a photograph of your finished work and your name and email address to admin@ladyofthechateau.com or post a photo in the comments to have your work considered in a competition judged by the workshop's instructor and artist, Peter Keegan. He will award the winning selection a prize.

What a wonderful instructor he is, very passionate and thorough. Saving my major denarii to attend one of your painting workshops next year can’t wait for it. Just some feedback in the interest of making it better, I was a little distracted with the constant movement of people in your camera frame. I am so impressed with both the content, set-up and instructors with these workshops you have arranged last year and this year bravo laddies, No other chateaux are currently providing this level of workshops.

This is so informative. So glad you zoomed in at the end on his painting so we could see how broad each brush stroke was and how each one stood out because he mixed the paint colors slightly different for each stroke. Thank you!

Awwww man, You moved your location.... it was a much better view from the other side.
Perhaps someone can adjust the straps of the instructor’s apron for him. Is there a way to shorten his straps so he is not frequently pulling them up higher on his shoulders?
I wish he would have had a microphone on him I could barely hear what he was saying.
