Hate is a bit harsh but I’d rephrase it as musicians/bands I haven’t been able to get into: Grateful Dead Neil Young (and I want to like him for his passionate activism) Eric Clapton Led Zeppelin
Hi Norman .. you two have great chemistry this was a delight to watch .. top marks for championing billy Bragg .. he’s great ... I share your love of woody Allen .. I passed that love on to my son .. it’s my job to do the important stuff! I hope we get a part two 🤔... thanks for sharing
Mazzy this is one of those videos I watch where the host has a guest and they’re just having drinks and laughing and generally enjoying the moment It just seems so relaxed and natural It’s great but it always makes me wish I was there having a blast too LoL!! This was a fun watch and definitely will check out that 69 record and Billy Bragg Great stuff as always Mazzy! Also I received your package yesterday and I am so excited to open it! I will do an on video unboxing today so it will be semi live Thanks to you and Amanda the Archivist for a wonderful half hour! Oh and at the end your ring light made your eyes look totally creepy like some alien or some crazed Beatle fan LoL Peace ☮️Cosmic Brian
Great video. Thanks for introducing Amanda. Very jealous of her job. She’s turned you on to some good ones. I have a love/hate relationship with Jens Lekman’s music, though. You’re now sitting at #1 on the Most Awkward Ending Standings. It’s a thing.
A party at Mazzy's house would be alot of fun. The UK Revolver is better but I like the US Rubber Soul over the UK version. Funny story about your green eyeballs!
Ok...Phil Collin's solo Artist work I agree was not very good...and really bordering on sappy terrible crap BUT as a drummer I appreciate his playing and phrasing in all Genesis work. He is a very underrated drummer when it comes to the rock/prog rock drummers conversation. I think he's in the conversation for sure in many ways. Even his ability to replace the great Peter Gabriel on vocals and slide into that role is amazing not to mention there were a number of Genesis records without Gabriel that were fantastic as well. I'm sure you mean Phil as a solo Artist yes?
ok, Billy Joel toured my hometown twice a years in the 70's before he made it big with The Stranger album... then everything got killed on the radio.... but give Streetlife Serenade a listen... its not all formula. Great Suburban Showdown..... that was me leaving home. That said, totally get Billy Joel slag... only wanted to be a star, not an artist.
A lot of people hate on Bruce Springsteen and the Eagles, but I like them fine. It's a different strokes thing. I dislike a lot of musicians and bands as well, some that are quite popular in the VC, but I don't make an issue of it. I'm sure I listen to a lot of stuff they'd dislike. Buy & listen to what you enjoy.
Amanda is a super star.
Does Amanda have her own channel?.... she should !!!
No. She just makes guest appearances on mine......
Seattle's a very nice city to be sure, but it's just so far from everyplace else.
Ive been watching for a while Mazzy. Great Guest, Great episode. Please include this lady in many more shows.
What a lovely guest Mazzy ! You two are having way too much fun for just one Martini ! Cheers !
Cool tat!
Enjoyed it, as always. The light made your eyes look like a Little Orphan Annie Comic. You might want to try a different angle. Cheers!
Bill's Box Of Sound thanks Bill. Yeah I realized the ring light reflection when I played it back so I’ll adjust as we go. 🥺😎
First time here. Love candy man by Mississippi John Hurt..
The only woody Allen movie like is " take the money and run"

Thanks Norman and Amanda! love the Immortal John Hurt Record. You two showed quite a few records that I’ve yet to discover. Thanks 🥂

Great video. Very entertaining.
Very enjoyable Mazzy...great guest and great company. Hope to see her again!
Enjoyed it man, you guys did a great job together you should have her back again. Peace
HA! I love ABBA and hate Billy Joel as well. Great video. I have two Josh White albums on vinyl, one where he sings more folk that blues.
Well done, Mazzy and Amanda. Reminds me of my father-in-law and I - he orders with a twist and I prefer the olive. Fun watch! Cheers, Jeff
Great music and fun stuff. Martini’s are the secret sauce.
Oh and I’m not a Jazz guy (yet) but I’m drawn towards that Charle Lloyd Quartet Love In Live record Hmm May have to check it!
What a nice young lady. You always have great guest.
Mazzy loved this episode....Amanda is awesome:)....I believe Elliott Smith is due some love, hoping you have his records and you can review.
Hi mazzy, make a video with your guest about jazz, maybe she can tell us about some modern jazz, grtz from the netherlands

Ok I needs me an archivist. Got 19 years of live recordings piled up here. Bill is distraught at Mazzy’s view of Phil Collins.
We all need an Archivist.
Great video! Lots of laughs, great records and Woody Allen too. What's not to like?
Cheers! Its Martini Time! ( To quote Reverend Horton Heat ) fun video.
Dots & Loops Records & Film Love the Rev! Seen him a few times in Austin and Dallas Killer Live Show!
Wow!! That was fun..You two would make great weekly whack A mole videos , Loved the video.. I need a drink. Laterz
I forgot to mention , I don't care what anyone says , ABBA is great , I still have fantasies about agnetha .. ❤
I'm not familiar with most of the albums shown but this was very enjoyable and I love Woody Allen.
Good to see Jens Lekman get a mention really like his stuff, great laugh Amanda.
I actually watc(h)ed some of this wit(h) your biggest fan. Surreal.

You guys are a riot! Love it!
Nice video.
This was a lot of fun! I'm on the love side of Abba as well.

Hate Billy Joel ?? That's sacrilege. Just be a West Coast thing.

Saw Billy Bragg with Robyn Hitchcock. Great show but a looooooots of talking between the two.
s/0 Woody Allen.
