Luke you are the best your take on The Beatles is breathtaking I've laughed jumped for joy and😢I was 12 yrs old in 1964
Yay! You're back! Missed you and the Beatles journey. Love all your comments on these songs. Spot on!
Three great songs that illustrate the incredible stylistic range of the Beatles. I've Just Seen A Face showing the influence of the US folk-rock movement and Bob Dylan. Yesterday, an absolutely brilliant song that came out of a dream. Dizzy Miss Lizzy showing off John Lennon's impeccably free vocal phrasing. Welcome Back Luke!
John does justice to those old rockers!! I love his raspy vocals on it!
Oh man.... it's great to see you continue this Beatles journey. It even explodes from here......Thank You
Glad you're back. Hope you continue the rest of The Beatles journey. I like "I've just seen a face." "Been & seen" wouldn't rhyme without their British accents, so I always loved that about that song. "Yesterday" is a true classic & it was the 1st rock/pop song with Strings. It's one of the most covered song. It's Paul's & it truly is beautiful. The fans even stopped screaming to hear it when he first sang it in concert. They'd start screaming after it was over. This was a true departure from the bands early "Yeah, yeah, yeah" phase & showed how they were maturing musically.
Beatles= o adevarata minune. Cum de s-au adunat 4 oameni, cu asemnea calitati intr-un singur grup. MINUNE
Welcome back, Luke! I'm glad we get to continue on this journey of my favorite band. Yesterday is amazing, but I also really like I've Just Seen a Face. That's hard for me because I am not a fan of country music, but there is something about that song. It is quite possibly in my Top Ten Beatles.
I've Just Seen a Face is right up there in top underrated Beatles songs.
Welcome back! I have been looking forward to your return! It’s great to jump back in with the last three on the “Help” album. These old Beatles songs are so wonderful to hear. I’m so glad you’re back. I hope your trip was awesome. 🌺✌️
Hi Luke, I was wondering where you had gone, whether it was all over. Fortunately it is not, you are back. I am looking forward to your exploration of what is to come. I guess almost everyone here knows very well what we will hear, but it is just a treat to hear and see your reactions to it. Thanks!
Regards, Paul (NL)
Hi Luke great to see you back, I have missed your in depth analysis of the songs.
Haven't heard some of these songs in years! I was 12 when the Beatles hit the states, and got my first album, Meet The Beatles in 1964! Love your knowledgeable and brilliant analysis', song by song, album by album. Fantastic channel!
Welcome back, hope you had a relaxing vacation.
Dizzy Miss Lizzy cover would be similar to their beginning gigs in tiny clubs.
Lovely to see you again. Welcome back Luke! X
Welcome back! I have missed your beautiful mind and face 🥰🥰
Yay! Luke is back, woo hoo! ❤ Missed your Beatles reactions.
Hey Luke. Welcome back. Glad to see you doing well. Also great to hear your reactions, especially about the Beatles.
So miracles DO exist! You are back with a vengeance! Hip-hip-hooray!
OMG, you are ok! I am so happy.
I'm glad to see you again
Welcome back Luke 👍😃🇧🇻
Back in the early mod 60s in London, a ‘Face’ was someone who was ‘hot’ in the scene…hence “The Small Faces’ with Stevie Marriot.
Great hearing from you at last Luke
Good to see you again!
welcome back
I find it so interesting that the album Help! is different in the U.S. from the U.K. I know there are others, too, of course, but I don't recall Dizzy Miss Lizzy as being on the U.S. album. And, I thought Yesterday was on a different album. Hmmmm.... Rubber Soul is one of my favorites, so thanks.
Hooray, you're back!
Glad your back. I noticed that a bunch of your Madonna reactions are gone. Maybe, also a bunch of other reactions of other acts, too. I'm guessing copyright deletions. That's too bad, if that's what happened. I do miss seeing you and your insightful reactions.
So good to see you again! Huzzah! Welcome back and what a great way to jump back in, with more Beatles! Wishing for your continued good health and peace.
Hey luke! Did you know that some of the founding members of the Beatles was Stuart Sutcliffe? Same last name as yours! It was actually Stuarts idea to name the band "The Beatles"
Glad to see you back! Not to post about other bands on a Beatles reaction, but just in case you werent aware, Nightwish have announced a new album coming out in September, and the first single from the album is coming out on Tuesday (21st May) 😁
Hey, you're back. I thought perhaps the YT banhammer had come down on yo head cuz of all your Beatles reactions! Just FYI, Luke -- that sweater is creating a crazy moire pattern. Re: these songs, of course John has to counter Paul's acoustic songs with a screaming rocker. But Paul was ahead of the curve as usual, inventing an entire new category of pop music.
Hi Luke!! Welcome back. PS: What happened to all your a-ha reactions?! 🌹🕊
We missed u, how was Australia? I am next door in New Zealand.
