As the chord changes from a “G” to a “C” during the “Rain” chant, Paul remains on the “G” note. It really gives an eerie sound.
Yo bro! This is an amazing song! Rain, recorded on April 14 & 16, 1966!!
Nice Reaction! Just as a side note. The Beatles came to the decision early on that they wouldn't put the singles on albums since they didn't believe you should have to buy the single, then have to buy the same song on the album later on. Their producer George Martin came to regret that later on after leaving the single Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields off of Sgt Pepper. Although, they did put singles on albums later on. As far as a suggestion from The Beatles, I'd say Dear Prudence, I'm only sleeping, or Norwegian Wood.
