- We were invited to a modeling agency in Makati, so we packed up and left Samal Island to pursue new opportunities in Manila. Unfortunately, we just missed Andrey’s family-they arrived on Samal after we left. I was really hoping to meet them, but hopefully, next time we’ll get the chance!
The kids were absolutely amazed by the mall of Asia, they couldn’t believe how big it was and how much there was to see and do. We’ll definitely be coming back, especially to do ice skating!
We’re also hoping that a big client will want to work with kids, and that we’ll land some good contract for both kids. It’s not easy to get since there will be a casting and a selection round, and kids are not profis and never did it before. But we’re staying optimistic and hoping for the best!

you can apply for work also, in costumer care or call center agent, its an advantage that you can speak Latvian, German, and Russian. I know 2 vlogger who working there now, they from Argentina and Belgium. Their salary are way higher than locals or filipinos

There are plenty of opportunities for you in Manila. Filipino beauty standard tend to favor "Caucasian" look or half-Caucasian (Filipino-Spanish). Many will be angry at my comments, but that is the reality. Result of Spanish race bias. If you are practical enough, you can take advantage of that opportunity. Who knows your children would end up not only as models but actress/actors in Philippine entertainment industry.

just as others would advice you, check the agency, scammers abound everywhere. nevertheless, hope you're kids get the best opportunities. i just wonder, why didn't get you to apply as a model? really wondering. anyways, kudos to you and your kids! K!😊
Make sure you read the contract clearly, even small clauses. Model agencies pay little, so make sure you get paid right. Also be careful that is considered work and it might get the attention of immigration. Try not to vlog about it if you can.

I myself find Manila very huge just Manila itself .But Metro Manila has various cities which includes Quezon city way bigger than Manila and there's a place called Eastwood VERY beautiful. There is Caloocan city. Here in Canada second biggest Country in the world and Philippines is just a very tiny dot.But still Philippines is bigger than Canada because most places in Philippines are habitable except those in far South but here only one fourth of Canada is livable most are wasteland ,desolate prairies and snowy desert. Very huge stretch of land that human can't survive to live.But in Philippines if you live near the coastal if you know how to swim and fish you could survive like Barbie Island vlog I saw her selling ice cream by the bridge in Siargao she survive he he he .

Manila is safe during the day but like any other capital cities of the world, there are bad elements sometimes. It’s pretty safe if you’re driving especially with kids in tow. Your still in the process of selection, you can go back to samal island to meet Andreis family while your waiting for the result.my son was once a commercial model, they will go on the series of work shop, acting singing, dancing, after that you have to get a DOLE working permit because they are still minors, I don't know if this law apply to your children , they are not fiipinos,Good Luck Emma and Dominic .

Keep your kids close to you at all times. There are a lot of children went missing recently. Also, check if foreign kids are allowed to work in the Phillipines.
Be careful on that modelling agency, read all the contract and the fine prints some of them are taking advantage of the models. Just be careful.
