So cute! I initially decided not to buy this one, and just hearted it. However, now that I have watched your video, and see how quick & easy it is to make, I can’t pass it up. I’m definitely going to buy this pattern! ❤
So cute and easy! ❤ I LOVE the Bishop sleeve! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE that fabric! 🫠❤️😍 A few years ago a store I love had these “cocoon” cardigans, but they had a super lightweight one going into fall. It gets cold here so it was waaaaaaay too thin. So I didn’t purchase it. Once I started sewing again last year I knew I had to find a pattern for this and make a whole bunch of them! I’m so excited to make this!
Oh sorry, I’ll add that. One of our team members is ill and they usually do the description. I missed it. Thanks for letting me know. It’s in the instruction tutorial and on the cover, too.
So cute! Can you explain why you top stitched the facing from the right side instead of the wrong side, which would be easier to see? Is there some reason you shouldn't do it from the wrong side? Sorry if it's a silly question, but I am sincerely wondering !!
Great question. You topstitch from the right side of the fabric because topstitching is meant to be a visible stitch on the finished garment, so you need to sew on the side that will be seen on the outside, which is the "right side" of the fabric; this allows you to accurately guide your stitching and ensure a neat appearance.
Adorable! Those sleeves really make it extra cute!
Thanks! I thought so too! 🩷🩷
