Man, I've been looking all over for that Canada Dry commercial. The chipmunk and the gulping sounds had me laughing my ass off when I was 14. Only ever saw that commercial a handful of times and had been trying to find it ever since. That made me day.
I’d give anything to go back to 97....selling that stinky perfume at Sears, waiting impatiently for new Buffy’s on Tuesday nights, and guys in jeans that aren’t crushing their grapes 😂💗💐

Agreed in the late 90s mad tv was better but they had a yearly interchangeable cast.

I don't think it was actually underrated. I knew a lot of people that watched it. There's still so many quotables living in my head. There was definitely a point where it was better than snl and it ran for a long time.

Ahh yes 1997 when the commericals were still awesome, MadTV was funny AF, the NFL had not gone full Woke, the movies were good, and the Jerry Springer fights on TV were the bomb!!!!

TIL it was a national chain in 25 states and not just my own home city lol. I remember ours had a running track up high you could test shoes on and look down into the entire store

Man, where are all the surge commercials? I remember seeing so many of them. Knew how to pump you up for that caffeine laden sugar rush drink it was!
2:35, I remember using Pert Plus as a teenager. Some of the best 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner I've ever used. But, it's gotten more expensive nowadays, so I use Suave Professionals 2-in-1 Plus Shampoo and Conditioner. But it seems like they've changed the ingredients or fragrance over the years and also the color. I don't know. It's cheaper and effective.

I remember being 14 in 1997 and somehow my local video store let me rent the Jerry Springer Too Hot For TV vhs and even at that age I was disappointed with the FIGHTS because of course that was the only reason I wanted to watch that movie.
That kids computer was available at 3 stores that are all no longer with us...
