@@bauTom I can guarantee that both of them practiced their routines several times but not with one another. You can see Camden trying to figure out what Willow was doing for a few moments and then realized that was what she was doing and then got right back to singing and dancing.

Sure, their final almost matching outfits were just a coincidence… so was their coordinated runaway finale and the fact that Lady C waited for Willow to finish his stunt before doing his. Yup… all chance. Also, this show is not scripted and there is no exacerbated drama at all, no misleading spoilers and previews to get the 15yo girls talking, sharing and watching. Lol. @@Lo55t check the spoilers that were released after the finale was filmed, almost 2 weeks back. The spoilers said that Willow was the clear winner since LC's reveal had a huge mishap. Basically, the crown of her black wig got tangled to the red wig, and if you notice right as her reveal happens, she's struggling to remove the black wig and then the camera suddenly cuts to Willow. According to spoilers, LC struggled for solid 5 secs and that also frizzed up her red wig. Overall the reveal became underwhelming because of this. She was also multiple times just trying to keep her hair off her face for remaining of the lipsync, you can also catch this for a brief second towards the end. Also, Willow's reveals were getting louder reactions compared to LC. There's a huge difference in live and broadcasted version, but im happy that production wasn't shady and didn't point out every issue in LC's reveal. Overall, spoilers had mentioned that both queens were filmed being crown but Willow was the obvious winner
That suit Willow chose and the way she moved was genius, her reveal was way more impactful. The clear winner.
All of Willow's reveals during the finale were exciting. She went from a cute little flower with a big head to something out of a fever dream with normal sized heads but three of them and then, wham, four of them! Same with her finale zoot suit. It was like David Byrne doing drag.

The synchronized reveals to matching outfits made this final lipsynch so good. Everyone tonight did excellent except one person who whelmed during their challenge.

I thought Lady Camden's wig mishap isn't that bad at all. It's noticeable but she saved it.
To be quite honest i don't really think it went wrong at all. It wasnt as gaggy as the freddy murcury one, but i kinda fell it was on purpouse

Willow walking to the front was quite smart and you can see Camden’s eyes shift to her probably wishing she’d done that
After seeing this a few times I think Willow clearly won the lip sync. If you look closely at Lady Camden you will see that she was missing some of the words to the song, but not Willow.

Willow's Season 14 track record is nearly identical to Yvie's on Season 11: they both won their only Main Challenge on their second episode competing, received positive critiques in six other episodes, received negative critiques in two episodes, were just safe in three episodes, were up for elimination for Snatch Game, were part of a double shantay, became finalists, were the finalist with the least Main Challenge wins, lip-synced for the Crown against a professional ballet dancer not originally from the US who had won three Main Challenges, and ultimately won their season.

@@junosgladius The craziest thing is that she definitely shouldn't even have been in the Top 4. Least consistent of the Top 5 and fell off at the end after peaking early in the competition.
The winner brought creativity to table. She tampered with our imaginations and we loved it immensely. Rupaul recognizes creativity and talents. She deserved it because she worked for it. I like it that Rupaul knows who deserve what. Good job, ladies!
Two drag queens lipsyncing to a Cher cover of an ABBA song. It doesn't get much gayer than this. Iconic.
An ABBA song covered by Cher (and once covered by Madonna) i think that makes it the gayest song of all time, next to YMCA.
I’d rather prefer the original over Cher’s version. The auto tune makes things sound horrible and Cher sounds drunk while singing.

Honestly I would've been happy with either of them winning. They're both amazing. Love that Willow won though, they all underestimated her as soon as she walked into the werkroom and look at her now! So proud of her! I'm really gonna miss these ladies, this cast was incredible, I hope we see a lot of them on All Stars.
Both were great. Lady Camden seemed to let her adrenaline take over and a couple very small times felt off. Willow is always so chill and in control and I think in the end, it is what got her the crown. Congrats to both!
There was definitely a moment LC started to watch Willow's performance to see how they compared but she recovered quickly from that and went back to performance mode. Willow was just more exciting and unique not to mention she didn't mess anything up and she had two reveals hat were easy to mess up, which, thankfully, she didn't.
I think Lady Camden got desperate at the end of the lip sync, she was doing weird moves, almost like incomplete moves or maybe trying to do much to impress and was not being precise in the moves
The last hairflip was crunchy. Still love her tho.
Noticed this too. I felt like she got nervous when she saw Willow's last look because Willow can move more freely. I noticed her looking at Willow too much at that point like she's trying to figure out Willow's next move, hence her dance moves started to mimic Willow's.
I think they both planned to do a stunt at the end 😭 I honestly love them so much
I can't stop watching this lip sync, it radiates so much positive vibes as if they are doing a dance challenge but with more elegance and fun moments. It was sooooooo gooooood.
I'm torn. They were both so INCREDIBLE. When they revealed their bodysuits at the same time I didn't know what to feel but applauding them.🤩
Willow’s mom and sister wore shirts that made me think red pill and blue pill. And then Willow’s reveal was purple. Idk if I’m reading into it way too hard, especially Willow’s purple fit in the end, but I was feeling the fantasy lol

Compared to other finals both Willow and Camden had good chemistry and energy between them, it seemed like they were competing together. Enjoy this final and the result a lot!

Yeah she did struggle and also repeated her stunt but imo I still found her idea way better than Willow’s, Lady Camden’s was less obvious.
But tbf I could do without reveals anyway 🤷🏻♀️ If we can see it coming the payoff is usually not worth the hassle and distracts from the rest of the song. Though I still think Willow did a great job regardless.
And she did a wig reveal previously so she needed more than that. Willow outsmarted everybody in the final and paid off.

2:13 was the moment Rupaul saw during editing and decided to give the crown to Willow. It was so odd and cute and very lip sync worthy.

Willows costume screamed vegas. I saw it and knew she would win.
Honestly, the lip sync was so even that I can understand Camden losing because of the reveal fail. It didn't ruin her performance, but it was very noticeable, and they were both close in quality, so that one detail ended up making the difference. Its not the same with Alyssa VS Kerri, in which Alyssa's "fail" pretty much made no difference and she still did a much better performance than Kerri's.
Season winners have NEVER been decided on final lip synchs.

This was such a refreshing lip sync for the crown. They both looked like they were having fun and wanted to be there. The reveals also felt fresh.
Getting sick of queens coming out to the finale lip sync looking like they’re hiding a flat screen tv under their clothes. Sasha Velour really opened the gates of hell with her finale performance now it has become an unwritten rule to do at least 10 reveals while lip syncing for the crown, doesn’t matter if they’re good or not.
Obvious reveals exist outside of Drag Race. There’s more to drag than just drag race

i genuinely believe a double win could’ve totally worked here. 2 queens that’s are equally loved by the fandom, and both deserve the crown so much. considering how long this season was too, a double win would’ve been an amazing ending

This lipsync was good idk what a lot of people are saying that it sucked and Camden was messy… it was really good… and camdens reveal wasn’t messy, she purposely did it on the thunder break and made it look like she fell like she did on the show… we just weren’t really wowed by it cus she had already done it
In terms of Camdens reveal being messy thats in reference to the wig getting caught. Apparently the edit was really generous, people that spoiled the finale after the live taping basically said that Willow was guaranteed to win after Camdens reveal didn’t go to plan.
But I do agree that it was a great lip sync for sure.
