Hey guys, my name is Vivien Makhoul and I am a second year medical student in the United States :) Come along with me for this week of shenanigans!!
yall i did it… i took step 1. i studied real hard for it, prayed real hard for it, was humbled, and ultimately decided to send it. i went from thinking i would need to drop out of med school bc i believed i could never pass 😂 to opening up to classmates and realizing i wasn’t alone at all. with the help of friends, family, and mentors, i began to believe in the numbers and myself. and it is now my personal mission to join the aamc/nbme to ban step 1. dont they know im just a girl?

I studied with my cousin, but she spent more time on her phone than studying. Despite this, she passed the Step 1 test while I failed. When I asked her how she did it, I found out that she received help from Mr Richard.

Frustration can be a positive sign. It indicates that the solution to your problem is close, but your current approach isn't working. You need to change your approach to achieve your goal.

I totally hear you! It’s so rewarding to see the positive results after working your ass off. I heard another MD student on RUclips say “Pressure creates diamonds.” There is so much truth to that when it comes to med school. The pressure is absolutely insane! You’re making diamonds, girl! 💎💎💎💖

Advice for step2: if you wear embroidered patagonia during all ur clinicals it gives u a boost 10 point boost on step2
