Internal Medicine Rotation as a 3rd Year Medical Student | Vivien Makhoul
Hey guys, my name is Vivien Makhoul and I am a third year medical student in the United States :) Come along with me for this week of shenanigans!!
hard to believe that this week marked the halfway point of my internal medicine rotation, my year of core rotations, and MED SCHOOL! This rotation has been so special because of the team of intelligent and confident women I got to learn under. I feel so lucky to have had this experience, and to share it with you all. ALSO I finally get to start walking again after severely spraining my ankle playing some tennis.

this week i am in a GA state inpatient psych hospital. this is where the sickest psychiatric patients in the state end up. it was a surreal experience that i will truly remember forever. and if u don’t think mental illness is real… trust me it is, and the treatments are incredible and lifesaving.
