    How cool that the first video you come back with is this super cool lick that I’ve been fixated on for so long. I do believe it’s one of the coolest licks that I’ve heard in all my years of playing. The funny thing is I can obviously play all the notes in the lick but it’s the authority and snap you play it with that makes all the difference. It’s all over your playing and it never gets old to my ears!

      Yeah, I’ve been working on Lenny quite a bit over the past year. And of course Stevie does that signature riff! Great video!!! 🔥🎸🤘🏻🇺🇸

      I try to learn them slow and keep playing them over and over again. Usually with no amp. Just listening to the patterns

      I thought SRV was a “key of G “ man but after searching some songs • Texas Flood • Sky is Crying • Pride & Joy are all key Eb , I’ve been schooled ..

    • @theriffwniksevigny5473
      @theriffwniksevigny5473  2 года назад

      Right?! Its so repetitive and just happens so often. But, all it takes is that one outside note to take you in a different direction!
