I think you are WAY too hard on yourself. You've hit the ground running with the game and I think you've got a really great eye for what a zoo is (I guess the JWE practice helps there, it is a zoo game after all!) Keep it up :)
Everything seems to be $10 in building mats with some $20 and $30. Do you know if this just a beta placeholder price? Or has pricing been finalized? I saw plants had more variety in pricing though.
I want to highfive you for liking Muse! But man, this is one beast of a building, it could probably suit tropical birds well too. Edit: I'd love to see small birds or possibly even flying insects added to the game to make walk through gardens and domes. Though I guess they would probably be too small gameplay wise :c
An aviary and an insect house would be cool to do in this game. Zoos do have them. I hope they do add birds and insects eventually. Something else that would be nice is fish and turtles to add to water.
Your Hindi teacher is back. Panna Ghar is about right, for a hut!. This is a Panna Mahal. xD p.s. Ghar does means house, mahal is palace ala the Taj Mahal Even though it is a mausoleum, the word is used to name mega structures. Such a colossal build deserves to be called a palace, I am sure other viewers would agree. There is an actual "place" called Panna Mahal, though it is a lavish suite in the 15th century Neemrana Fort, which has been converted to a boutique hotel. Not the best room there either :). You can book it for less than $100 a night. There are also hundred of jewelry and garment stores that use the name. Panna is pronounced "pun" ( like the English word) -slight pause - "nah" Without the pause it sounds like panah especially if the H at the end is emphasized. That means shelter (from the elements) or asylum (political asylum, not a nut house), based on context. Also, love and appreciate the effort you put into everything you build. I am always awestruck by someone who can work on fine details in games like this. I suck at it myself, often leaving the landscape scarred and broken while playing games like transport fever or city skylines.
yeah that’s what i was thinking with the hexagons, it’d be cool if planet zoo had cooling rooms when you had buildings like this where you could heat the whole building and then guests could go into the cool rooms (much like the eden project)
Me when I see the thumbnail: dang, that would look AMAZING in Jurassic World Evo. Your builds are really getting so detailed and creative! I love this building. Great work!
I love watching all the planet zoo builds...but you’ll always be my favourite. Its a build anyone could get inspiration from and realistically do in their own game. Plus, I share your love of foliage
I was actually thinking the building looked weird and needed a connecting piece between the wall and the glass ceiling... then you completely fixed it minutes later! (well, probably hours in real time haha). Good work, can't wait for Planet Zoo to come out so I can watch you do what I never could :)
In all fairness, Rudi, Silv, and Deladysigner are much more familiar with how to make good builds because of their experience with Planet Coaster. Trust me, BIS, you're getting better and better.
My time to make an old folks comment - "Back in my day, we used to do this with mods for zoo 2. Stairs were a nightmare and all the building packs looked the same." I don't aurora designs ever released the African lion. Ah memories.
A tip I'd have for the future is to rotate the glass as you place it down to prevent the tiled pattern from being too obvious. But I think you're being too harsh on yourself considering you've only just begun. You're doing great.
Don't worry about your buildings skills that much, it takes time to get things like scale, details and all of that, if you're starting now dont be that hard on yourself!
If you're ever in the Midwestern US, I bet you'd like the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. Especially the Lied Jungle, which is one of the largest indoor rainforests in the world. Your build reminded be a bit of that. There's also the Desert Dome, which is the world's largest glazed geodesic dome and holds one of the world's largest indoor deserts. Underneath it is Kingdoms of the Night, the world's largest nocturnal exhibit. I love the swamp exhibit especially. The Lied Jungle is basically a giant walk-through exhibit with some larger animals, such as tapirs, contained in exhibits to separate them from the zoo guests, as well as exhibits for animals that have more different requirements than what the walk-through area can provide or who wouldn't get along with the free-roaming animals. It's like being transported into a different world. There are all these bridges that you can cross and some go around and/or behind waterfalls. There's also a walk-through free-flight aviary that's the world's third-largest free-flight aviary. I have some pictures of the flamingos there and in some it looks like two are making a heart with their necks. ❤️ I loved the video by the way. You're really good at architecture and I love how you style the exhibits too. It looks so natural. And I say this genuinely with no sarcasm: you can never have too many plants in your zoo!
I think it'd be cool to add a mezzanine with a food court so people can get a really good view of the animals as they eat :D You could also add a mezzanine for the terrarium animals and any staff buildings giving you more space below for the other animals.
What you should to at the front of the building is create an outside terrace around the middle (heightwise) by pushing back the two wooden sides around the glass front and put the foliage that you are so good at. I think this might improve the look of the front because due to the height of your build, the top half looks a bit empty. Also cool zoo.
like the idea with the waterfall in the exhibit but you could also include a stream coming out from the gharial exhibit and the path bridges over it. adds realism because otherwise the water would just build up in real life.
pls make little streams running through the building. either by adding water or using a water fountain ^^ I just love how it looks already cant wait to see it finished
I know I'm so late, but I found Planet Zoo by accident, and it led me to your channel. Anyway, I absolutely love your videos, and your builds are so fabulous! Thank you so much for your content!
Great build. This looks great. Have you thought about putting vines or something on the front at the top? Or maybe even putting vines growing in part of the front? This may keep the rainforest feeling as you view the building from the front as it the rainforest is enveloping the facade.
so excited!! I dont think you use too much foliage. I finally was able to get the game today I know theirs only a week left in the beta but I'm going to play anytime I can.
I think when the game fully release you could try naming your habitats by translating the english into the planet universe language, there is a translator you can easily google and would help tie it in with the guests.
Not the biggest fan of a complete mosaic glass roof, but my logic can accept your taste because greenhouses are practical. It will certainly be interesting to see how you’ll workout the set up of enclosures.
This is looking incredible! I can't wait for sandbox so I can focus purely on this instead of the management. It's fun, but overwhelming for me. Or maybe it's easy and I'm just dumb haha
It would be really cool if you made like a glass tube for some climbing animal that is the central exhibit. Lemurs? I don't know, but I love your videos, keep up the great work!
The grid issue can be fixed by going to the settings for placing the piece (not the actual game options, but where you set angle snap etc) and setting vertical snapping or vertical height or something to 1m, where it’s been changed to zero. It does however reset EVERY time, it’s super frustrating.
I love this! Would you please put this up on the workshop if you're blueprints are working? I have wanted to do a raised path inside lemur exhibit and this would be perfect for it.
I know, I have a ps4 and would love to play this game, but the stupid developer made it PC and steam only, why do I feel like all the fun games are on PC?
I think you are WAY too hard on yourself. You've hit the ground running with the game and I think you've got a really great eye for what a zoo is (I guess the JWE practice helps there, it is a zoo game after all!) Keep it up :)
Oh! I just came from your video!🤗🤗
I love watching videos from the both of you
Everything seems to be $10 in building mats with some $20 and $30. Do you know if this just a beta placeholder price? Or has pricing been finalized? I saw plants had more variety in pricing though.
I subscribed to you just a few days ago lol
I agree!! You pick yourself apart way too much. YOU are amazing and I love watching your videos.
Use water sprinklers to make it rain in the rainforest on some places
Great idea!
U can't put them upside down
@@Its_Me_Romano there are water effects that make the same effect
I am you’re 101th like 👍
Also that is a great idea 😎
When you don’t have Planet Zoo so you’re just watching videos
Me with most games in general tbh.
why do I relate with this so much.... oh yeah, I don't own a PC :(
:( 😓
I preordered but I have to save up for a brand new gaming laptop before I can play the Planet games.
Was gonna like but yknow 69 likes..
BestInSlot: A British guy making an Indian zoo in the middle of China theming it after Africa.
Only BestInSlot folks, only BestInSlot. 👏👏👏
And that's why we love our goofy Brit.
hes mr worldwide!
I watch him cause ima Brit.
Average builder: Plays songs in backround while they build
BestInSlot: Adult content
....Maybe that's why your zoo looks f*ckin a amazing xD
I can’t wait to see the exhibit designs for the rainforest house!!!!!
“I’m not the best”
Me: **looks at this and at the end result**
Me: “excuse me-“
As an architecture student I can tell you (for what matters) that your composition of the facade work in a very light and elegant way.
I want to highfive you for liking Muse! But man, this is one beast of a building, it could probably suit tropical birds well too.
Edit: I'd love to see small birds or possibly even flying insects added to the game to make walk through gardens and domes. Though I guess they would probably be too small gameplay wise :c
MoonAndMidnight they did add parrots in zoo tycoon
An aviary and an insect house would be cool to do in this game. Zoos do have them. I hope they do add birds and insects eventually. Something else that would be nice is fish and turtles to add to water.
Ooh, a timelapse episode! It's really cool seeing it all come together, it must've taken so long!
Looking forward to seeing this develop~
And here I am, making a small brick box for my gharials
I made a perfectly square peafowl exhibit and thought to myself, "well done." I have gotten pretty good a rock stacking. LOL
Your Hindi teacher is back. Panna Ghar is about right, for a hut!. This is a Panna Mahal. xD

WOW! I love how much customization they are giving the player!
It feel like the Eden project tropical domes that’s in Cornwall
yeah that’s what i was thinking with the hexagons, it’d be cool if planet zoo had cooling rooms when you had buildings like this where you could heat the whole building and then guests could go into the cool rooms (much like the eden project)
Yeah I think that will help to make your projects better and it can make the guests happier as well
Me when I see the thumbnail: dang, that would look AMAZING in Jurassic World Evo.

I’m so excited to see this out together. Snake houses and stuff like it are always my favorite parts of zoos!

Awesome build. Can’t wait to see the finished exhibit with all the animals.
Your strengths lie in being entertaining and making awesome exhibits :) love your stuff
This is the kind of item placement I wish JWE had. It boggles my mind why their scenery items have such a huge radius around them.
3 years later and at least foilage has good placement now
you're right, your zoo feels very cozy with the placement of rocks, ponds, and foliage. keep it up brother
Your voice is addictive somehow. You're so 100% not single
I Just cant wait to see how it all Turns out when its finished
MrMiffels same
Saw muse live this year it was spectacular, also building looks amazing! Brings me back to some of the extremely hard building you used to do in ZT2
One wall piece is four meters tall, so in real life this build would be 40-50 meters tall. I'll let you judge if that's huge or not.
That's literally the height of most Godzillas.
I really wish this game would be released for the consoles. It looks like so much fun. ^^
This isn't a master piece. This is a BIS piece.
AMAZING!!! I can't wait to see the rest of it. My state zoo has 2 big tropical house and they're my favorite part of the zoo.
In all fairness, Rudi, Silv, and Deladysigner are much more familiar with how to make good builds because of their experience with Planet Coaster.
Trust me, BIS, you're getting better and better.
Maybe you could add the tapir in an exhibit, seeing as it's another great rainforest animal
My time to make an old folks comment -
"Back in my day, we used to do this with mods for zoo 2. Stairs were a nightmare and all the building packs looked the same."
I don't aurora designs ever released the African lion. Ah memories.
Man, that looks amazing so far... I don't think I could have come up with something like that. Great Job.
A tip I'd have for the future is to rotate the glass as you place it down to prevent the tiled pattern from being too obvious.
But I think you're being too harsh on yourself considering you've only just begun. You're doing great.
I love the idea of listening to Being as an Ocean while playing Planet Zoo.
How great are your captions?! “Hello folks asbestos law...”
This build is incredible!! Well done as always.
These are some amazing builds, BIS, don't be too tough on yourself
The terrarium underground ruins sounds amazing! If you could do it so they contact the floor and ceiling you could make them look like pillars.
Hmm, I would 100% watch a livestream of you building.
Me to
Don't worry about your buildings skills that much, it takes time to get things like scale, details and all of that, if you're starting now dont be that hard on yourself!

pls make little streams running through the building. either by adding water or using a water fountain ^^ I just love how it looks already cant wait to see it finished
woaw that it really well done buddy! you are given me inspiration xD keep it up :3
When I think of a rainforest exhibit I think of glass and mossy stone - for future ideas

Very nice build. It will look so great in the end. It needs more trees 😁
Awesome project!

It would be really cool if you made like a glass tube for some climbing animal that is the central exhibit. Lemurs? I don't know, but I love your videos, keep up the great work!
You make building in this look so easy. It took me an hour to build a small square hut
Having vines grow up the building is a must,
I think you should do a exhibit over the glass tunnel going in
Today is my birthday but I feel quite sad and anxious. This video calmed me down, I don't know why.. But thank you
