- The Lancia Delta S4 is one of the most legendary cars of all time. We had the opportunity to watch this beast in action few years ago. Here you have the onboard camera of Monte Erice Hillclimb (Sicily), Driver Lucio Peruggini.

The Group B Quattro aside, I agree.
Quattro has nothing on Lancia. They lost a championship to a RWD 037 and the Quattro was completely obsolete when the S4 was introduced.

The crowd loved it…considering it looks like they were all to young to see the real thing back in the mid 80’s….Well done to the driver to give them that experience…he was really giving it some throttle

They did drive S4s and 205 T16s on Pikes Peak, I don't know if there's any footage of it though..

Sorry I do not know the names of the drivers, I only know that the cars were used in Pikes Peak ca 1987/1990.

Not really. Braking and gas made with right foot only. That's heel and toe driving. Left foot too busy withe clutching.

@@abl360 Left foot braking was an essential with the nose heavy Quattros. With a mid-engined car, it was nowhere near as important, as shown here.
after braking immediately on throttle.. good way to take advantage of that supercharger turbo lag killer.. better to feel the tarmac through throttle
It sounds like a howling dog like as if it does not want to stop, but it wants more of that accelleration
No turbocharger lag here - the S4 has a supercharger to take care of power at low revs, with a turbo coming in higher up the rev range - engine-wise, a flawless concept.

arti sped mappa conservativa quindi va molto meno di quello che potrebbe di conseguenza sospensioni e telaio risultano mai in difficoltà. Sarebbe bello vederla andare con la mappa full power!!!
