I, personally, am a feminist, but I think that male abuse victims go unnoticed far too much. However, When I mention my experiences with assault to a guy, he always mentions that “Men get raped too!”. And I am completely aware of that, but the fact that he is using male victims’ experiences to silence women is absolutely unacceptable. And any of the male victims I know would kick your teeth in for saying that.

I actually notice that social justice activism has empowered men to be just as, if not more aggressive with women in an unacceptable way. I was in a workers union where these non-binary gender warriors declared me too aggressively mannish because I rejected electing a 'non-binary' man with a beard to the women's committee. When you erase my womanhood, you also erase these physical boundaries as well, so that I feel that a left-wing man who really thinks womanhood is just a construct becomes more scary to me than a traditionally aggressive male. Does that make sense? Like he more readily treats me just like any other male, although it is quite clear to me that the physicality differences still exist. They kinda gaslight women into thinking the physical boundaries make no sense.
There could be incidents like this, but the consequences for men who lose control in such situations are a lot more graver than for women. A male will have to control himself even when confronted with constant provocation because the laws are stacked against one gender in many countries. I think his observation is correct however immoral you may think. He eludes to the fact that an argument with a woman can not be resolved in the same manner because the rules of engagement are different. This leads to many social issues and deficiencies in society. It's the cause of male suicide, alcoholism, and pent up male anger which can lead to extreme domestic violence. When you are against the view of something but you can not achieve justice from meaningful conversations it leads to repression and more agression like a ticking time bomb in the male. On the other hand, a woman who is allowed to freely abuse men or have strong opposition without serious consequences, is likened to a dictatorship. The law has little power against them because they can't punish them as adults. This has been a growing concern as more children participate in criminal activity knowing they are exempt from the full force of the law. Again the rules of engagement is different. Another similar situation arises in war where if two soldiers are fighting against each other equally identifiable as militants, it's easy to fight on even terms within the Geneva convention. You know who your enemy is. It's man against man. However, a woman can play the role of guerrilla tactics. She hides amongst civilians, pretending to be innocent but coming out as an aggressor undetected because the man has limited defence against her strategy even though he may be the stronger force. Usually he gets defeated because the rules of engagement are different. He can't bring his guns to bear affectively. Just look at the US being defeated in all wars involving guerrilla tactics, including Vietnam and conflicts in the middle east. They've lost each battle where they can't fight conventionally. And look at the trauma suffered by the soldiers of guerrilla type warfare where killing civilians has destroyed their lives. One social science phd student was waxing lyrical about how it was important to have programs in place to protect women from abuse at the maker space on the campus, which of course it is , but when someone asked her about men experiencing that kind of abuse she went ice cold and denied it even existed and even if it did they were only getting karma for centuries of historical abuse. Dr. Peterson is so correct. About 10 years back I boarded an Amtrak train, with only one seat remaining. The seat next to mine was ticketed (occupied) so I put my small travelling/gym bag under the seat in front of me and took a trip to the bathroom before the train left the station. When i returned to take my seat, a female passenger of about 40 years of age was seated next me, and immediately proceeded to harp at me for leaving my bag unattended, as she did not know if it was a bomb or what it could be!!! I told her calmly to relax, and she did exactly the opposite, she castigated me loudly, as if what i did was a deadly sin to her safety. I of course restrained my instinct to raise my voice, or my hand to tell her to shut up, and just ignored her and she quieted down, but with a sour look on her face. I actually notice that social justice activism has empowered men to be just as, if not more aggressive with women in an unacceptable way. I was in a workers union where these non-binary gender warriors declared me too aggressively mannish because I rejected electing a 'non-binary' man with a beard to the women's committee. When you erase my womanhood, you also erase these physical boundaries as well, so that I feel that a left-wing man who really thinks womanhood is just a construct becomes more scary to me than a traditionally aggressive male. Does that make sense? Like he more readily treats me just like any other male, although it is quite clear to me that the physicality differences still exist. I think his observation is correct however immoral you may think. He eludes to the fact that an argument with a woman can not be resolved in the same manner because the rules of engagement are different. This leads to many social issues and deficiencies in society. It's the cause of male suicide, alcoholism, and pent up male anger which can lead to extreme domestic violence. When you are against the view of something but you can not achieve justice from meaningful conversations it leads to repression and more agression like a ticking time bomb in the male. The law has little power against them because they can't punish them as adults. This has been a growing concern as more children participate in criminal activity knowing they are exempt from the full force of the law. Again the rules of engagement is different. Frustrating to say the least. Another similar situation arises in war where if two soldiers are fighting against each other equally identifiable as militants, it's easy to fight on even terms within the Geneva convention. You know who your enemy is. It's man against man. However, a woman can play the role of guerrilla tactics. She hides amongst civilians, pretending to be innocent but coming out as an aggressor undetected because the man has limited defence against her strategy even though he may be the stronger force. Usually he gets defeated because the rules of engagement are different. He can't bring his guns to bear affectively. Just look at the US being defeated in all wars involving guerrilla tactics, including Vietnam and conflicts in the middle east. They've lost each battle where they can't fight conventionally. And look at the trauma suffered by the soldiers of guerrilla type warfare where killing civilians has destroyed their lives. Fighting wars and relationships between man and women are not all too different.

Dr. Peterson is so correct. About 10 years back I boarded an Amtrak train, with only one seat remaining. The seat next to mine was ticketed (occupied) so I put my small travelling/gym bag under the seat in front of me and took a trip to the bathroom before the train left the station. When i returned to take my seat, a female passenger of about 40 years of age was seated next me, and immediately proceeded to harp at me for leaving my bag unattended, as she did not know if it was a bomb or what it could be!!! I told her calmly to relax, and she did exactly the opposite, she castigated me loudly, as if what i did was a deadly sin to her safety. I of course restrained my instinct to raise my voice, or my hand to tell her to shut up, and just ignored her and she quieted down, but with a sour look on her face. @@Yraur Thank you for this comment because I know a lot of non-believers think women should submit to them because of the Bible stupidly, when that was written for a Godly marriage for Christians. The man submits to Christ, loves his wife in obedience. The wife submits to her husband in obedience to God. And the Children obey their parents in the Lord, in obedience to God. Must be fun to cherry-pick when you take God out of the equation and make it seem like women must bow down to the authority of men, when that is not so. That would be stupidity, because all men who show "authority" or some veneers of leadership are not worth submitting to. As for non-Christians, choose you poison, but don't appropriate verses from a book you don't read in context when it suits you. (Not accusing Lisa of doing this, but many others do in these conversations, so I wanted to leave this here.)

There are gender differences, psychologically, between men and women and within a relationship the womans negativity goes a long way to the failure of relationships. Ask many men how the longer into a relationship they go the more hyper critical their partners become. In many ways this leads to men withdrawing and finally leaving but the female rhetoric of failed relationships nearly always throws the blame on men as they cannot accept their role in this failure. No matter how " the modern man" tries to have a co operative partnership womens negativity and their need to dominate by manipulation, emotional diatribes and finally by ignoring the co operation compact will only lead to greater divisions amongst the sexes but will colour the outlook of their offspring, also ready being seen as more and more young men see no advantage to long term relationships
This is certainly true in my experience of women who have had previously unhealthy relationships with men, but its certainly not true of all women in my expereince. Where negativity is key the men are certainly obliged to eventually leave or stay abused.
You didn't communicate there needs to be a change in how y'all talk, and address changing dynamics of how she can give feedback that's not negative to you. Just withdraw and abandon, but blame your action on her. Negativity isn't always abuse. Of abused understand you leave. If don't like soemthing and not trying to force, control, boss others around, you'd talk. But that'd require vulnerability, accountability, and action you'll get wrong before right. Aka vulnerability. You just blamed an entire relationship you abandon first on not liking complaints. That sounds 100% your fault. Blame as much as is unconstructive, feels so well deserved by someone blaming the woman for his actions already too like wth

The majority of men tries to find logical solutions to the problems within the relationship.(If you dont include the minority of men that lives out their lives laying on the couch) But at some point it starts to feel hopeless. And then they eventually leave. And not with a easy heart.

@@ShiraZtheGreatOne so what if the women is really just asking for help because she’s tired working a full time job cooking cleaning and being the main caregiver of the children aka giving emotional and practical support while her husband comes home and locks himself away in the room and ignores the family..../it’s an extreme example but I do know a few relationships like this. Maybe her nagging and complaints are valid but she doesn’t know how to express herself in a more positive kind and caring way. Maybe the man is loookng at porn or spending money on onlyfans (true story) and had gotten lost in fantasy and loves the compliments and complains his wife doesn’t treat him this way....you know I just find these things so hard to believe that a man is so innocent and a women just decides she wants to spend the rest of her life making her husband the man she chose miserable. Don’t you think it’s more than that
