Rodrigo was a gem in the 6th. He is a huge cap value. He is proven in the NFL. He has everything the Lions are about. Grit! Anyone, Steele Chambers or anyone else, has a mountain to get over before taking Rodrigo's place.
I was going to make a similar comment, but you said it all! 👏
I think Anzalone, Campbell and Barnes are definitely the top 3 and going to play most snaps, especially considering they only start 2 linebackers.
Barnes is on the last year of his rookie contract and we got to make a decision on re signing him.
That's why I never understood when a lot of fans wanted defense, they would only talk about the Secondary and the D Line, never mentioning that Linebackers We didn't talk about getting one in free agency or in the draft.
That's going to be a priority next season.
Relax Fanboy Malcolm not that good
How come he didn't play defense if the mountain so high?
@@CATCH22-313 Did you miss the interception?
They would never cut Malcom as his value on special teams and fill in lb is priceless
I'm with you I think his value is in multiple positions everytime he touches the field he makes Great plays
@@boysinhonolulublue5956 plus he is what we’re built on, he is an over achiever who with that wrestling background has all the grit in the world and don’t forget that ❤️ remember when he flipped Jason Kelce
@@Mr.GetGuap I forgot bout the flip 😂😂🤧
Malcolm will make the team. Special teams at the least.
Rodrego should be our full-time fullback
agreed
Malcolm will only get a 5th round maybe 4th but to me he is more valuable to our sqaud
Rodriguez is staying.
No ,Malcolm is not going to be traded. I really see maybe one UDFA WR making the 53 man. The Lions have a tough schedule ahead ,they can't be playing around with the roster ,replacing veterans with UDFA's who never played a snap in an NFL game.
No sir Rodrigo will be on the team without question
They're both going to make the roster/team imo.
Rodrigo is everything that defines this team
There’s room for both.
Malcolm Rodriguez is the Lions best tackler so of course Glenn benched him all year. #44 was the only guy that showed up on defense in the NFC Championship game but sure get rid of him. James Houston too since Glenn doesn't like either of them. Players like Skipper, DPJ, and Cominshy will be on other teams next year not Rodriguez in hopefully AG's last year in Detroit. What's amazing is that the Lion's 2nd string is as loaded with talent as their starters. Steele can make it on Special Teams or the practice squad.
I agree you are spot on! Rodriguez shined at LB as a rookie too until he got hurt!
Chambers unseating a prior Lion would be like the heavy weight champ getting beat in a close bout. It is possible but less likely.
if chambers or any rookie for that matter bumps out rodrigo, he better be fred warner
Rod is now safe. He is FB1, backup LB, and plays ST
Rodriguez is the one of the best back up lb in the nfl
I would hate to see Rodrigo go he has made a bunch of Oklahomans lions fans there is a lot anyway because of Barry sanders and billy sims but he is a fresh face for the young fans I live out here love your show of course
rodrigo has trade value. starting experience on a rookie deal. even if its a pick swap
Yeah, Rodrigo's value is just too high in my opinion. He has the starting experience and versatility to play at different positions. It'll be really difficult for him to be cut or even traded unless it's around a mid 4th maybe.
Yes, Sir!! Rodrigo is STILL going to be on STs and a replacement on D. Steele Chambers doesn't have a chance to push Rodrigo ANYWHERE!!!
Lions do not get rid of Swiss army knives Rodrigo has that leverage
Rodrigo isn’t going anywhere! He will keep playing linebacker. Did you forget about the interception in the nfc title game?
Having a ring and earning one is two different things. And you shouldn't take shot's a those who follow you. They help.you eat don't start feeling yourself.
They would trade Rodriguez before they release him. Big value to most teams
RodriGO 🚫 GO! 🤬
1st!
2nd
No. Rodrigo should actually be starting . No will not be replaced
So does Isaiah Buggs, even if he was only on the practice squad. 4th round pick. Rodrigo won't go anywhere.
Random but Jason Cabinda shouldn’t make the team
