Great question! We are working to add these specs to our torque manual on our website. In the meantime: - the M6 bolts that go through the Factory Fiamma bracket should be tightened to 26.5 inch-pounds (3 N/m) - the 5/16-18 hex bolts securing the Unaka adapter bracket to the 8020 should be 132 inch- pounds or (18.49 N/m) and we recommend using loctite
Yes, they certainly will. Just select the Transit HSLD - All Models selection when you select your awning brackets. You will then get a set of spacers that rest between the top of the 8020 adapters and the bottom of the awning bracket to get everything to line up correctly. If you have any questions at all please email csr@unakagearco.com or give us a call or chat us on our website.
We typically try to install them within the recommend range that Fiamma specifies, but that doesn't mean they are equally spaced. You can slide the brackets forward or backward as you need to if you have to get them in front of, or behind a cross bar or splice plate. If you have more questions, email us at csr@unakagearco.com!
The awning can be adjusted forward or backwards as needed to get your desired fit with in reason. Your limitations may be your van roof, the Fiamma recommended mounting locations, or your rack. This is more difficult on the Ford Transits as the main curve of the roof extends back fairly far. Some customers have done it, but it may put you outside of Fiamma's mounting recommendations and put extra cantilevered on your rack which is not advised.
The roof rack is a Unaka Gear Go HSLD Rack. We designed and manufacture that rack. We do ship our racks to Europe. The awnings are manufactured in Italy, so I am sure you can purchase one and have it shipped to you from a European supplier. If you have any questions email us at csr@unakagearco.com.

Will the bracket adapters work with the "Explorist Life" roof rack and solar panel installation?

Doe the mounting brackets have to be spaced equally apart from each other for proper installation? or can they be mounted where they fit the rack?
We typically try to install them within the recommend range that Fiamma specifies, but that doesn't mean they are equally spaced. Can the awning be installed so it fully covers the side door, tha is, more forward?
The awning can be adjusted forward or backwards as needed to get your desired fit with in reason. Your limitations may be your van roof, the Fiamma recommended mounting locations, or your rack.
