Why is quetzal so low, when I played people literally relied on quetzals for everything. Everyone wanted super bred quetzals not only just for farming, but battle quetzals were insanely broken with imprints and super armored platform saddles.
Even if they are nerfed or suck now, Quetzals deserves to be way higher for it's history in the game

it was really nice to sit back and appreciate the designs of these creatures and their still animations, something that goes unnoticed when your trying to kill them or trying not to be killed by them haha
Maewing is top 5 in my opinion because it has ridiculous flying abilities and it can nurture eggs but not the ability to level movement speed kinda balances it out due to the insane flying

Me and my brother and his wife have a server together and we depend solely on maewings for our travel, once you get used to moving with them you can go all the way across maps in one jump, and move at stupid fast speeds
Dire Bear is the only thing that needs to be higher, its suuuuch a versatile mount and easy to get perfect taming with honey, and once imprinted they are devastating, not to mention they provide warmth when riding in cold places,is speedy, can gather both berries and meat (also a underrated fiber farmer) and of course ...... that lvl up animation

Nobody’s gonna see this but I believe the Diplocaulus should be higher as it is excellent water scout considering it’s small size and high speed, it’s amazing early game because it can give the player riding it oxygen, and overall I think it’s kinda cute, in its own weirdly slimy way. Great video though, keep it up!

I personally love the quetzal because it can be a basically flying base and is also an easy way to get things that are high up as like a flying tame so I would put it up at at least top 10 or 15
Edit: I use it a lot to get to the top of the mountains for materials in The Island map

Wildcatd actually made the quetzal one lf the most useless creatures. Its good for someone in pvp that want his base very high in the sky to hide.otherwise its useless
Considering its the biggest flyer in earth and very popular they made it look like trash. It deserves a lot from wildcard.

You wanna know what worse than a centipede? A magmasaur, basilisk, gigantosaurus, rock golem, managarmr, karkinos, velonasaur, several bosses, gacha, maewing, titanosaur, astrodelphis, astrocetus, ferox, megachelon and yutyrannus. He put the athroplura at 33rd place, I’m not even kidding.

I just view this to view a compilation of the creatures in the game as a person who never played this but finds it interesting. The lower ranked are already pretty cool to me from a cosmetic viewpoint.
Managarmyr is severely underrated, if you upgrade the right stats it can go toe to toe with an alpha trex. It's ice breath is extremely useful for everything, and it's one of the fastest creatures around
Mana’s aren’t underrated they are one of the most used creatures in the game
They nerfed them extremely becuz of pvp balance or something like that. Its not really in my top list. After the nerf,its not the strongest not the fastest.

Quetzals should be higher they are a flyer that’s has platform saddle and can move at a decent rate especially for metal runs via using storage boxes
Gallimimus deserves to be number 1, it is the most op dino in the game, it does 7,000,000 damage and it has 48,000,000 health it can literally solo 100 king titans at once
Only thing I disagree on is the iguanodon. It's one of my faves and leveled up it's fast and packs a wallop.
The tropeognathus of deserves to be higher you can ride without a saddle and as a OP saddle
I feel like a lot of creatures were just meant to be pests but wildcard let you tame them anyway, like Purlovia, Icthyornis, Pego, Araneo, Compy, Onyc, and others.
My favourite thing on the game is the deinonychus as you can probably tell, but I think they should be in like 8°instead of 5° and the giga should be higher
I was sad about the quetz but I can understand. I was shocked wyv wasn't your top though. The only thing that really made me lose it was the astrocetus being so high. I know they aren't practical unless you PvP, especially for how tectonically frustrating they can be to knock, but they're like the *coolest* looking thing in game to me. I love those guys D:
I also loved all the whiplash to something big and badass then a little lightpet or something small: ROCKWELL--troodon. SPINOSAURUS--shinehorn
Personally, I love the blood stalker and see it as my fav creature. Also why is quetzal 165? You can make turret bases on them and it is super op!

It’s funny to see how an ovis is ranked higher than a giga
Tropeognathus needs a way higher ranking, wait until you are trying to find a dodowyvern, or make it to raptor Claus drops, this is the dino you want. Gets you across the map quickly, uses no stamina in low jet speed and just fun to fly on.
Not anymore look at that the new 3000jet backflying wierd dolthins dude creature aka astrodelphis

My top 10:
1-thyla : Imprint it, it's a war machine. I love it for both looks and utility.
2- Dire Bear: Another devastating animal, sprint on speed, collect meat and berries from you, powerful damage.
3- Wyvern: except that of poison because I hate it. it allows you to move around the map very quickly, has a good weight, and if you need to, it can defend you very well. absolutely useful.
4- Megatherium: Cave tank. With its buff on bugs and other crap.
5- Therizino: collects a lot of wood, fiber, also knows how to defend you very well, is a complete dino.
6-Anchilo + Argy: you must have this combo to collect metal and transport it to your base.
7- Dire Wolf-Sabertooth: they are also excellent cave animals, both for size and power. but less useful than thyla or bear, in my opinion.
8- Pteranodon / Griffin: fast to move but do not allow you to carry a lot of weight. the Griffon more yes, but it has less damage than the Ptero.
9- Rex: No need to explain it had to be in the top ten.
10- Barionyx: Also good for caves. skilled swimmer, immobilizes enemies, fast even on land.
I have not put the megalosaurus, because at least that you are not on Aberration, and you need them, I do not see the usefulness because during the day in all the other maps, even if imprinted / leveled or whatever still remains very slow. but it remains one of my favorites.
Some people have a wrong information that therizinos are used only to gather ressources and to fight the dragon boss with it. Wich is not completely true, I used my mutated theris to kill all the alpha bosses in the story map exept for the king titan
(they had a lot of mutations)
I killed the alpha island bosses + alpha overseer
Transfered them to scorched killed the alpha manticore, as for abberation I did it without dino,. For extinction gigas and titans ,for the master controller I used also therizinos, if you don't die while collecting the keys the genesis 1 boss the controller can also be beaten with therizinos ,and I did the same with alpha rockwell prime. I even transfered them to valguero and they killed the 3 alpha bosses (they are in the same arena)
The therizino is the second best choice after the rex. The theri can even rival the rex if the theri has sweet veggie cakes.
The spino comes in third place because he doesn't have as much health as the rex or the theri .and the gap gets bigger if someone decide to use sweet veggies . But the spino is the best choice for bosses arena with water in it. Because then he becomes very strong. But I usually don't use it for anything but its cool nonetheless.
All these boss fight were done with single player setting off and imprint bonus at 1x .wich is official settings.
The gen1 boss was the hardest boss by far
My personal list:

4. Reaper
5. Thyla
6. Argy
7. Direbear
8. Allo
9. Yuty
10. Rex
At start i liked how fast sarcos are but not very usefull and annoying in the swamp why people still like rockdraks we are not in abbrent what you mean dodo 1 dodo should be in god

Quetzal is criminally low. Best way to farm metal, Carrie's the Anky and can smelt the metal on the flight back. Also can transport Rexs across the map.
Its criminally low,because wildcard nerfed it to be like that,it definitely deserves a tlc to increase his trash melee damage and trash mouvemnt speed.
I can't sustain flying that slow. Even when I tame it I just try it then put it in a cryopod forever.

Edit: ok, I was a bit surprised at this. I expected the raptor and troodon to be lower on the list due to how annoying they can be. I can understand the Shadow mane, but I'm at least glad some cool ones made it to top ten. (I'm mostly talking about bulbdog, rex and griffin.)
Honestly the quetz is probably my favorite bird (not countering wyverns) it def needs some tlc tho so I can see why you would put it so low. All around great list

I would love to know what kind of scale you’re using to put these rankings in? IMO there is no way a pteranodon beats out a Tapejara
They beat tapejara in every way. They are easier to tame, require less materials for saddle, more accessible at lower levels, their barrel roll gives them higher damage and even speed.
Tapejara have a bit higher stat (health and stam) and has better controls
But the ptera has higher damage ,faster speed and trash stamina.
Each one of them have advantages and disadvantages.
I've always had a soft spot for the Tape. Very pretty, feel really good to fly on, and the tek saddle is cool af

You clearly didn't tame a tapejara
The tapejara has better health and stamina and weight and controls(manoeuvrability) than the pteranodon but the pteranodon is a bit faster and deal more damage with the C attack
You should try the tapejara first before saying the ptera is better in everything
Tapejara has 1) Better stamina (doesnt have to stop so often to rest 2) Better weight 3) More health 4) Better control. True ptero is easier to tame but I definitely switch when I get a tapejara. I have had them both.
I’m quite you didn’t have Equus at a higher rank. I would also have to say that the woolly rhino and procoptodon should be higher up IMO
Quetzals are great, they are like flying brontos and great for some raids. Also it’s just fun to strap a minigun to ones back😗
The only criticism I have is that the Purlovia should be at the 166 th place

I 100% agree the shadow mane is number one but I would have liked to see the thyla higher up there on the list. Because of their Speed, strength, climbing skills and bleed I think they should've come in 5th

For me shadowmane is number one but I hated the nerf of the natural armor. From 124 to 80 .
Therizino is the second.because he collects nearly everything and he is the second best boss fighter has a tiny bit less damage and health than the rexy boy but he has some advantages like the sweet veggies that can heal him by a big percentage of health , they are also much easier to control and to guide wich is an important thing in boss fight,also because they are smaller,most of them can attack at the same time unlike bigger creatures wich stuck in and behind each other,and the ones behind can't attack because they are blocked by the ones in the top
. So he is the second best in boss fights and nothing rivals it in this second place
The only ones I absolutely do NOT agree with are the Rock drakes and the yutyrannus.
The Rock drake is the core of Aberration, my favourite map, mobilty through the roof, easy good saddles since less saddle types spawn on abb, one of the rare creatures with a tek saddle too. The looks of it are top notch, best travel creature for me. My favourite creature in the whole game.
The yutyrannus should be in everyone's top 10 at least, hard to tame since they always somehow die but once you got one, they have really good hp, the courage roar is the best thing in a boss fight, they are the MVP's of the island, scorched earth and pretty much any map they spawn in, they are a required tame imo, they also look amazing, and they're fast, they also don't get stuck on many things
The drake is actually pretty high, I'd say there's no problem with it's position. It's great on ab, but tends to be replaced by other creatures elsewhere, therefore it makes sense to be around n 30.
And yeah, the yuty and rex should be swapped.
The drake looks good, but it's damage seems rather low to me compared to a wyvern when I always saw it as the wyvern of abb. At higher levels (around 30 points in hp) wyverns start to have higher starting health as well.

I would exchange the rex with the yuty, yes and then exchange the rex with the spino
@@s8theninjawarrior916 It's fast, but if you want speed, then just get a maewing honestly. It's easy af to tame and you can get from one corner of rag to the other in less than a minute.
Overall though, It's not as good as a wyvern, griffin or owl. I do like it though, I just feel like it's in around the right spot.
I'm not sure about that though. The rex just isn't too useful nowadays. Wouldn't deserve 17. It and the spino should be around 40.

Quetzal: only flyer with a platform on most maps, can easily kill a Rex, ton of weight. For PVE it’s gotta be one of the best
I would change a lot of things depending on how I was playing wether it was a speed run or just casual game play like if I was playing casual game play I would put giga quetzal Iguanodon and Gigantopithecus up higher because iguanodons will help you more than almost all creatures because you will eventually need kibble there for you need crops and to get crops you need seeds and if you don’t have seeds you won’t have a farm to create crops to make kibble.

Yes! Griffin in the top 10 makes me happy. I used to be made fun of when I still played because I prioritized them over any other dino. All my days I would spent at least the first or the last hour of my session getting perfect ones. People would laugh seeing me bring them to raids but after seeing me dome people from stealth positions and harassing wyverns, sneaking past enemy lines, they would all start trying to immitate me lol. They made world pvp so enjoyable. People would brag about killing one in global chat before realising I had a good hundred of them lmao.

I agree with most of the list. But Pelagornis and Archaeopteryx should be way higher.
The Pela is actually very useful, because it dosen't knock you off when you touch water with it. It can regenerate stamina in the water. It has a polymer weight reduction and is a very good polymer farmer. Reasons for it to be waaaay higher in this list!
And the Archaeopteryx is just cool locking and my favourite creature, so I would put it near the top, even if it is pretty useless. I mean, how is the Archaeopteryx lower ranked then the Leech, the Cnidaria, the Ant or even the Dimorphodon??? It looks so good, similar to the Featherlight which owns the twentieth place. And the noises it makes are very cute! I woud have put it under the top ten actually.
My top creature would be the Reaper Queen, by the way ;)
Yeah, Pelagornis have is bonus damage to fish, I killed some piranhas/sabertooth salmon with mine, and he did 10x damage to them!

Quetzal are better argy being faster carry more more hp damage and can carrry unlimited ressources and can be invincible with the platform saddle

Man says abilities play a big part in this so starting off strong with the quetzal being in 165 big brain moves right there axe honestly I see that it looks a lil weird and it’s hard to find and tame good levels but it’s a flyer with a platform saddle and picks up majority of arks creatures. And bruh I knew the comptroller would be low but it’s so much higher then the quetzal 💀🤦♂️

Wait I just saw quetzel second to last. That actually got a respond out of me. Aren’t those things flying sky bases? They are slow yeah. But great for air attacks on bases to raid. And you can rig up a quetzel to have anything you could possibly need ti tame any creature. They are needed to tame a titanosaurous basically and come in handy with taming a giga. I think of them as a necessity but to each their own… you ranked the dipiloticaus over the quetzel… that thing is literally useless
