Great video, love the builds, nice to see the printed stuff we do not see from kit manufactures. I"ll have to check out your shop as we have nothing local, always trying to support friends here! You hit a lot of good points with this. Being able to print the cars that just aren't available would be great. But it's an investment, financially, the learning curve, and time wise. All of us builders fight at least one of those of not all. You sound much the way I feel, that I want to try it and help other builders, but I don't want it to take all my time from building for myself. Then there's the covering costs of materials and machines while still keeping things affordable to the ones with tighter funds. Oh and you gotta have space to do it too! It's one heck of a balancing act. It's not in my cards at the moment, but maybe in the future. I'll sure be coming back for advice!

Thank you for responding to my comment. I believe you would have a great response if you come up with a 70-71 ranchero conversion to go with the revell cobra Torino kit. My dad had a 70 ranchero with a 429 cobra jet and shaker hood back in the early 80's when I was a teenager. I always wanted to build a model of it. I tried to convert one 20 years ago without success. Hopefully you or someone creates one. Thanks again. Keep up the videos and good work.

Love the Chevelle ! A friend of mine had a dark blue one with white interior back in high school. Had rally wheels with air shocks and ladder bars . Great new color you made for your paints . Thanks for sharing .

I think 3Dprinting is the BOMB! But, I cannot indulge myself as I retired with what I have in my stash and createx paints. Every once in a while I can but some needed supplies. Great video I'm so on the fence about a printer. I just started back up building again but I don't want to build stock I want them custom to the max. Love your 73 Chevelle body I had one when I was younger and want to build one as a Laguna. My first build I'm on right now is for my wife it's a 57 Chevy slammed with air bags and a wide body kit made from scratch. That is my thoughts on a printer right now I'm building with putty.

Great video, resin will be the future of the hobby. I have been printing for over 1 years. Started with wheels and engines. Like you I have lots of files from Andrey. Need to do vacuum printing the windscreen, would like to see a video on that. Just finished my el camino, I use cheap paint band painted black for the roof.

Awesome ! Thanks for all info on 3D printing. It has definitely been a game changer for the hobby . I have bought a few things the last couple years but haven’t used them yet . Have thought about getting a printer but I just don’t build enough. Also as you know me love the Mavericks and Comets so would be great to print those . I’ve been trying get all the parts I need to build a replica of a friends Celica Gt drag car. But some of the things on his car I haven’t been able to find on the pages that sell drag parts . Love you hobby room and all the neat things you have . The 3D printed cars you have built so look amazing . Thanks again for sharing your passion with the rest of us .

I have been 3D modeling cars for over 10 years. (First in Maya and now in Blender), Just bought my Resin 3D printer. Now the challenge is to print my models.

Just finished printing Andrey Bezrodny's 74 Ranchero! Anycubic 3D printers are O.K. but the worst service ever if you need a new lead screw motor! Wrecking the original was my fault by using a glass bead blaster nearby. They have the wrong motor listed on their site, so finally they send the correct one poorly packaged, and the lead screw was bent to hell. The last one they sent was O.K. and at least I'm back to printing. Might try Elegoo printers.

Just found your channel and subscribed. Awesome hobby room. Do you have a name or link to those Ikea office storage racks. Tried looking on Ikea website but could not find them. Just starting the journey on 3D printing researching lots and watching video's before I pull the trigger on a 3D setup
That 70's Celica ST was a killer. Is it also 3d Printed? Made it to the end with my wife over my shoulder seeing your "mess" and all I got from her was "Nope."

Just a heads up, if you buty your printer off Amazon you still get a warranty with elegoo. They recently had to replace my saturn 3 ultra screen.

Show me 3-D printed wheels are just not there yet I have a lot of rough spots not smooth and a lug nuts are pretty half bum bum on most of the ones I see
