Look man, you and your dog were literally being protected by a guardian angel that night. The odds were stacked against you, a nascar driver has a better chance of living from a head on collision than you did rolling over in that truck. God kept you alive and unharmed that night for a sole purpose and that was to make this video and to spread the word to not drink and drive. It happens everyday and you were luckier then a lottery ticket winner. Keep praying to the skys man, who knows when it will pay off for you again.

Hey bro I know what it's like to have bad memories of a bad accident that you've been involved in, me and my mother were ran over by an 18 wheeler trailer, and by the grace of God we both survived, very long story like yours, but I completely understand what u meant by the long term affects of the situation,I can't go past any 18 wheeler without getting chills n flashbacks,so I totally understand bro,it gets slightly easier through time, but mine has never gone away completely and it's been 10 years now. But your story is definitely something I can understand n relate to bro. I'm glad u n ur dog made it out without any harm. God bless.

This hit close to home brotha. 92 , lifted 85 toyota show truck , triple roll bars. Got off edge of paved road and when we pulled back on the right rear was spinning much faster than the truck. It launched the truck up on 2 wheels. Looked over at my passenger who had no seat belt on. Yelled put your seat belt on NOW! . I drove nearly 1/8th mile on 2 wheels and set it back down safely or so I thought. Suddenly the right rear blew off the bead and instantly we turned sideways at 55mph. 8 hard barrel rolls . Barely a scratch but we survived. Sadly tradgedy hit me much earlier though March 04, 1988 changing my life forever. My family and I were hit head on by guy on meth on I-10 westbound. Mother killed instantly, sister died but was resuscitated, father ejected nearly died and I was battered and bruised. Never know what life throws at ya .Glad you are ok my friend . Much love & respect. 😎👊🏼

Ryan, I have been watching your channel for a little over a year and this video came up in my feed today from 4 years ago. Wow man. Glad you and the dog were ok in the end. I am a big advocate against drinking and driving as a volunteer firefighter. You brought me to tears with this video as I have had to pull lifeless bodies out of wreckage many times. It sticks no matter what we tell you. God bless bud.

Quality video, very well worded. So thankful you and your dog pulled through, I really felt your pain there. My own Silverado got wrecked a few months back so I know the feeling of loss that goes with something like this. Really incredible that you walked away from it, I give huge props to Chevy as well, I feel so good to be driving another Silverado knowing me and my passenger walked away from my accident, and that you walked away from yours being as horrific as it was. Keep the content coming bro, you're clearly meant to do something amazing with your life.

I work as an EMT and sadly enough that’s how a lot of the drunk driving accidents go. So so sad. Also I got super uplifted by your story and how you persevered through the last year. About 3 weeks ago I got some health related news and doctors said I had a clot in my head that stretched from the back of my head almost to the front on the left side. Doctors don’t know why it was there because I hadn’t had anything traumatic happen and they were blown away that I could still function normally. Anyways I had to have brain surgery to remove the clot and now I’m on week 3 of recovery. This video was so well timed because I was feeling bummed tonight because the recovery has taken a step back I feel like. I’m having tingling down the right side of my body and it’s kinda getting me down because of the steps back. Thank you for sharing your story because it kind of reenergized me in a way.

Thanks for sharing your story, so many people drink and drive and really never stop to see or hear the consequences of what could happen. this is my first time seeing one of your videos. i know i am late but i am so glad you and your dog are okay! i think that this story needs to be shared to every person in the world to open their eyes on how important it is to be a responsible human being. i also agree with some of the comments i saw saying u should share this to high school students as they are becoming less and less responsible with their actions... this could really open up the eyes of those who choose to listen. God bless you and your family (including gunner), all the first responders, and our military! you are truly an inspiration to me and you are such a great guy.
