I absolutely love the look of the carbon diffuser and the wing/duckbill. BUT I would never want to, personally at least, put on a carbon front lip because all the rock chips and road debris is going to 100% ruin the amazing finish on the lip. But that is my personal opinion, all in all, it looks great on the Golf R.
I wonder if you're going to get some carbon side skirt extensions to match the look all around...

I should have clarified better, sorry lol. They make a specific automotive 3M tape. I used that and it stuck so much better. Not sure if the supplied adhesive has just been sitting for a while or is cheaper but it didn’t hold up

Aerofabb also uses two different thicknesses of the 3M VHB tape, as it prevents the rear spoiler extension from vibrating against the cars spoiler

I bought one for my MK6 R and it was quite possibly the worst lip I’ve ever used in my life…horrible fitment and cheap quality for a $300+ carbon splitter…secured my two screws and double sided tape 😂

So sorry to hear that! I've been running mine now for months and fitment is fine! I will say I replaced the adhesive with better adhesive. Did that on all the parts. But overall fitment was great on all the pieces. I wonder if you got one apart of a bad batch or something.
