Hey mate, I've fished meadfoot on previous holidays. Didn't catch but saw a lad pulling mackerel out by the bucket load on an evening high tide on those rocks. Antseys cove is just further up ilsham road, caught plenty there.
Lovely Rockling, great catch. Sorry you were seasick but, how can you be on a flat calm?? I have done my fair share of ground baiting so, I do understand the misery, always found the answer was to chuck up, then eat somthing (like a sarnie) so you had something to chuck up again, it does save you straining you stomache and makes life a lot easier, if you go out on the boat again, I suggest you take two or three sarnies or wraps and keep topped up you, really, wont feel so bad. Tight Lines.
Thanks for the advice Alan. I will definitely give it another go. I don't think having not eaten all day, being I'm the sun for 12 hours before I got on amd being over tired helped. Or maybe I'm just not meant for boat trips? Haha. It was rough enough for me.
Thunder hole what a ankle breaking place, superb catch you had there, along wait but worth it, very well done. Boats, yuk, im a ground baiter too, hate the things, cracking vid tho.
Thanks Bob. Glad you liked yet another video. Not sure where the next one will be but trying to vary a bit from now on. It got a bit Brixham heavy for s while
I've climbed at meadfoot. Ever since getting back into fishing I've always wanted to try that spot. Stunning spot and fish.

Yeah. I think it's been a little over-fished at Meadfoot. Ansteys cove is on my list to fish. Will no doubt record the session when I go.
