I always prefer using a code reader to clear codes on nissan/cat/mitu trucks with the K21/25 engine...the pedal dance with the accel pedal is to much of a pain
I'm working on a mpl02a25lv. Looks pretty identical to what you're working on, in the video. I have e21 e23 and e34. Found some messed up wires, replaced a maf sensor pigtail. How can I clear the codes? Is there an e-mail we can communicate through, or somethin?
I'm working on a mpl02a25lv. Cranks, no start. The hour meter doesn't work unless you're starting and then it goes back off. Can't find a service manual for it anywhere. Any ideas what I can check?
I have this very same forklift. I currently have the same code active on mine but after a short. Of no response from the pedal it started to work again and hasn't stopped since. Should I assume the sensor was stuck maybe in some way? Am I good to go or should I go ahead and change the sensor anyway? If you can help me with another question, we sent have the machine running and everything seems to work except it will not go forward reverse or have any hydraulic functions. We assume the seat switch is bad and that's what is preventing it from functioning. Is it possible there could be anything else preventing us from using the machine? We plan to work on this tomorrow.
Nice diagnosis, good to see you back.
You make awesome videos, thanks for your time. Keep up the great work!
+Arnulfo Sandoval thank you
Code 27 with no start is usually can sensor. Code 28 usually spark plugs and or coils. Always use OEM sensors, aftermarket don’t work or won’t last.
Nissan such a easy truck to work on.

ketcamaro what kind of scanner do you use?
You can remove the battery cable for about 2 min and it removes the code of remove ECM and vcm fuses and put it back and they erase
Where on the forklift is the obd2 port?

I'd start with the key switch first. Make sure the IG terminal does not loose power when key is switch to start position.
@@forkliftgeek10 thanks, I was thinking along that line myself. Now I got to find a schematic for the wiring.

Check the dash display it should say if the seat switch is not engaged. U could jump the seat switch to see if functions come back.
@@forkliftgeek10 and it lives!!! We jumped seat switch.... Paid $250 for it...
