Skiing from the top of Pardatschgrat 2,624 m down to Ischgl 1,400 m, over 1,000 metre altitude drop.
Thanks to everyone who has subscribed recently.
I fell in love with Ischgl this year. It's got some really extreme skiing but also some really wide tree lined pistes and amazing après ski. I'll be posting more videos from Ischgl over the next week.
This run was filmed on such a beautiful day on the Gopro hero 7 black. The dials where created using the GoPro app on an iPad tablet, as this is the only way to retain 4k while still using the GoPro software.

Thanks for those images! Beautiful! Next year, in the "Jännerloch", I will treat myself with Ischgl, too! The valley shute coming from Pardatschgrat looks just awesome with the great share of full sized pistes instead of flat trails all over.

Gopro hero 8 is terrible for getting the GPS to work, been trying to do some headcam vids this week.
Hey Malcolm, all GoPro's are rubbish unfortunately. So here are some things that you can do.
The GPS antenna is located on top of the Gopro if you have it mounted upside down it wont pick up a consistent signal. Also it needs about 10 seconds of being still to find a proper location.
The next thing you can do to isolate the problem is find out if its the GoPro that has the problem or it's the app. It's more likely to be in app I think.
You can use the programme below to see if the data has been collected but the app can't see it. There are lots of different sensors you can extract but you want to extract GPS then click on view map. This shows if there is data there.

Last point. When you copy a file it wont keep all the hidden information so you need to be using the original file from the GoPro otherwise it probably wont work.

@@Alexskiing yeah the main problem was in the app, I had to go into one of the files and change all the names the files from hero 7 to hero 8 to trick it into working! Got the speedometer working on a few runs but no luck with the tunnel I guess due to the tunnel part!
@@malcolmmoore That's crazy! The amount of glitches I have had with the GoPros, I thought that I had seen them all. It might be worth having a look at that website above as you can use Garmin software if the data is there.
