This is one of my favorite songs off the new album. It really shows Dianne's versatility as she sings both classical and rock vocals in the song.
Another completely pefect song from Xandria in composition, harmonies, super guitar solo and Diannes voice from heaven - absolutely outstanding and overwhelming!!!!
They could've been so big, not any bandmate replacement could take Heubaum where he was with this amazing ladies, from Kraller to van Giersbergen and even the hidden gem that Kerstin Bischof was. Money brakes everything in the end. These 3 albums are amongst the best symphonic metal out there.
Even Phillip Restmeier left after all this, the man was with Xandria from the start and yet he left, Xandria is the name that Heubaum wears publicly.
Within Temptation sometimes comes close but the time of Dianne at Xandria will forever define symphonic rock for me.

I'm so sad I didn't get the chance to see Xandria in the U.S. tour (they're not coming back to my state in the next tour) :(

I LOVE how theatrical this album is. Sacrificium was amazing, but this album truly shows every dimension of Dianne's voice. So good. Hope I can see them in Atlanta this fall!

The lyrics are sublime and reveal a hidden reality of the Human Being that can not be grasped by ordinary mortals.
If Dianne was still in Xandria without any unnecessary issues, Xandria would have performed in Wacken Open Air 2019.
Why Xandria guys? Why did you let such a precious gem, such as Dianne, pass??
Honestly, Xandria is not worth Dianne's time or voice. She's too good for them. And I'm personally content with the fact that Dianne's with Ex Libris now. It's much better than Xandria (and way more unique). But Xandria will never be the same to me without Dianne...

The band had lots of offers for tours and shows. They had headlining tour booked in USA she informed the band that she couldn't tour with them for yr to 6 months per her doctors ! The band hired a temp singer to do the tours and the shows booked while she dealt with her health issue. She freaked out that they would hire a temp singer to keep touring. Now mind you the members of the band aren't rich and it was keep touring to make a living or back to there 9to 5 jobs. She did a low ass over dramatic hit job on them in social media which was very low class and quit the band. Effectively destroying the band and fan base. Now let me just say im still huge fan of Dianne and love her voice. She should of resigned in a graceful way and a professional way but no she caused a huge shit show and destroyed the band.
Dianne has a solo project now. It's called Dianne.

I miss Dianne so much... but I’ll still listen to Xandria afterwards. They’re not bad guys, it’s just everyone has their own life to attend to and certain decisions have to be made. Sadly not everyone can be on the same page at all times. Dianne is still making music with Ex Libris too. I’m really looking forward to it! I just hope that when they pick a new singer, she won’t already be in another band is able to focus enough time on Xandria. They’re supposed to be announcing their new and permanent singer soon anyway. It’s almost time for that festival they’re going to be performing at.

This is Dianne's statement. Money doesn't make up for emotional abuse and extortion.
"I’M LEAVING XANDRIA.
The moment I promised you and me that would never come is here: I am leaving Xandria. And the reason is simple: staying in the band would cause further damage to the health problems the band has caused me.
For nearly 2 years now I’ve been trying to put band and management issues on the table, with the sole reason to keep this band healthy, together and ready for the future. Today I am sad to say that my attempts failed and have been ignored, that my cries for help have been met with financial threats and emotional extortion and that my persistence to keep on going, ignoring all the warning signs, has left me with uncontrollable stress symptoms (confirmed by doctors). I am a fighter, but I’ve come to see that this is one I cannot win. I don’t want to leave, I love the music that I got to write for you - which is 100% me - but I can’t live, can’t perform, can simply not exist in an environment that harms me. This environment does not care for me nor for the fans (even proposed me to playback in order to do more shows in a row) and somehow miraculously never generated any financial outcome and therefore no stability for any of its band members.
Yesterday evening the last hope I had of ever reconciling with the boys was shattered when they made a statement announcing that ‘I’ could not perform with the band anymore, forgetting to mention that I am in this unhealthy position because of Xandria & management. Not surprisingly they also already have a replacement for me and kicked me out of every Xandria social media page. With that they’ve send me one last clear message: they are not interested in fixing the situation nor are they willing to support me if that means (partly) stepping away from the business perspective (quote: ‘we are not friends’) which leads me to conclude what I know now: it is time for me to close this chapter and wish them the best of luck in continuing the band I loved so much.
Now, I don’t know where we will meet again, but I didn’t follow my passion, study all those hours and travel all those roads to simply give up. I’m sad to close this chapter, but I’m sure there will be another one to write. In the meantime I will be focussing on what does make me happy and I will be posting my daily business and updates on my Precious Metal Jewelry and Ex Libris stuff as usual. I very much hope to see you online so we can stay in touch and who knows, maybe one day in an audience again.
