The character Mike Forbes played by Peter Tully was the real star of the show! Loved this episode and 'Man From Nowhere'. Peter was a great little actor.
I love the ending. The boys passed up the chance to receive thousands of dollars, to go back to Pine River and search for arrowheads they could sell. “You got some better ideas for making easy money?” Mike says to Joe.
The UK had Dr. Who, and we had this! Still, if you are Canadian born, over 50, and don't know that theme song, you must have been raised on a Amish farm! lol
Thank you very much for the videos. It truly is nostalgic and brings back so many great memories of my youth. I so wish that we had more people like you posting these great timely videos instead of the crap that theses kids are posting today. Again, thanks a lot and may there be many more great videos to come. Jr.
This seems vaguely familiar, or at least Joe does. I remember a show from way back that had a similar theme and setting. I'm pretty sure it was also Canadian. I think one of the regular characters was a late teen called Chub. One episode freaked me out about someone stuck in the wilds poisoned by a snake. And another episode ended with a ghostly Indian paddling a canoe down a river. Can anyone identify the show for me?
Joe Two rivers . A hero to us all Canadians .

Great acting. Peter Tully great as usual
I was 7 years old in 1963, they were happy days as a child watching these episodes, so nice to watch again on RUclips 🇬🇧 here in the UK.
Thnx for bringing back great childhood memories of simpler times...

Good episode. I love the way every episode of this show teaches kids a good lesson.
