- Plays in the main menu in my mod "Thalassophobia" for Barotrauma.
A remix of "Tintin on the Moon - Main Theme" from the titular game for C64, composed by Jeroen Tel and subsequently used as lobby music for Space Station 13.
Created by modifying the KHinsider MIDI slightly and creating custom instruments that weren't as grating as SS13 Title3's FL Slayer but not quite as chiptuney as the original (which is still better despite my best efforts).

It's amazing to me how one song can have so much history, and extend beyond several games it was used in. I wonder what the original composer, Jeroen Tel, would think if he saw how many people this simple chiptune has touched, and the community it now represents.
he comments on a lot of the remixes so he definitely knows about and appreciates it. also i think it's far from "simple" lol, some of the composition is pretty complicated

there's a revival of it i'm using actively, and even though it's still somewhat rundown, it's still alot of fun.

3. It was really really broken and not in a state that I felt should be taking up one of the top slots on the workshop

@@dell988 I'm in the process of playing barotrauma campaign with some friends to see what it could use from a mod like thalassophobia in 2023. Things like vanilla-genetics and the skill trees means a lot of existing thal stuff needs to be reworked, but CS modding is very capable. Some of this is discussed in the discord.
@@hubismal I'm glad to hear it's being discussed. Your mod was one of the big reasons I started playing Baro and I'd be happy to see it make a comeback.

Wait... It is from space station 13?
Yea pretty much. The whole clown joke in barotrauma is cause of SS13. Paying homage to SS13 since well, It started off as a "SS13 clone" that doesnt bear the "SS13" curse.
But even then, the remix of the remix in ss13 comes from a song called “tintin on the moon”
@@Rags-vh9wc It basically improved on SS13, It was based off of SS13 and a game concept called "Pressure"
@@Rags-vh9wc I only play with screaming russians in Barotrauma, atleast it doesn't suffer from furry metacliques
