There are no good script writers left. There. I said it. All modern script writers hate white men, want to see ugly women, want all stories to revolve around gender BS, are not satisfied if less than 50% of roles have been race swapped, etc. Hollywood today is utterly incapable of making this into a good movie.

Problem is all the ego in Hollywood. They take an an established franchise, with a look & characters, then they want to re- imagine it in their own image. When has that ever worked?

The writer finds a huge, plastic water silo just stationed in the middle of the empty desert that they're trapped in.
They walk up to it and realize it's not a mirage. Climbing to the top, the writer sees that it is filled with clear water.
He takes a drink and tells the director, "It's pure spring water!" The director rejoices: "Thank God! We're saved!"
Just then the director unzips his pants and proceeds to urinate into the giant pool of drinking water.
"What the hell are you doing!??" the writer shouts out.
"What?!?," the director responds. "I'm making it better...!"
Hollywood is a tool for social engineering/programming. They don't care about making good movies anymore, they don't even care about profit.
they actually launder money through films.
That's why all the real directors like Scorcesse, Depalma, Coppolla, etc. are all but gone or doing their own independent thing. they aren't supported by the hollywood machine.
For a wonderful He-Man movie like this to get made, it would have to be independently made.

God damn! I wish somebody would make a He-Man movie in this style. Super nice blend of modern and antique and it fits perfectly with the entire look of the franchise. Has that nice gritty style to it and the colourful palette with high colour contrast also suits He-Man perfectly as it originated from the 80s toys.

I don’t care what anyone says, this is the best looking live action He-Man. Not making it a modern version actually helps it look more out of this world. Someday we will get to see so many childhood classics done right through this technology. Haven’t thought about that show since I was a kid but I would totally watch a live action version this cool looking.
