- Hello and welcome back! Today, we are looking at and deboxing the gorgeous SCOTTISH BARBIE who was released in 1981, from Mattel’s long running DOLLS OF THE WORLD series. What drove me to make this video? I really wanted to debox this lovely Birthday present from my bestie Dean Reen ASAP, (and you can check out his videos here!: / @deanreen ) so I can create my own redheaded Superstar Barbie friend!!! Yay! She's fabulous! SO glad you like her! Yeah, these dolls were released for a few years. That's why you get variations in skin tone, hair texture and face paint like with Italian Barbie and Oriental.

Another Great video! She is stunning. Thanks for sharing. Love the music in the background. I would love to visit Scotland. Can you imagine her boyfriend Ken of that era in a kilt with miniaure bagpipes? Or vintage Allan? 😅 They could have done that in the 60's.

yeah, she was produced several years. If i went back in time, i would want all of these, but i'd miss the articulation of modern Barbie.
Some collectors rebody vintage heads onto modern bodies but I can't! LOL
@@fashiondolldreamer I was thinking of, as things here settle down, doing Tuesday with Tuesday Taylor videos. Every Tuesday I’ll present her in different dress that fits her (shoes showcased because that is an issue)
@@Scotty-Z70: Did you ever use Mego Cher shoes for Tuesday? They fit OK... (A tiny bit larger but not enough to be annoying!) Admittedly, Cher didn't have a wide variety of styles either, but they came in lots of colours... even a mint green pair that perfectly matches Tuesday's mint green jumpsuit that was one of her budget fashions! You can see her redheaded friend 'Beautiful Crissy' (an Aussie exclusive retooled from that Dorothy Hammill skater doll) wear them with the jumpsuit in one of my videos! And Cher's tall brown boots from some of her fashions fit her perfectly and are really cool!
