alexlive257 все китайские паяльники (цена не важна) так и не смогли повторить советский ЭПСИ -65 или лидера импульсников Weller, в которых жало медное и разогрев 5сек, вовсех кит паяльниках жало железное с покрытием, и паяют они норм пока покрытие не сгорит, а это на 1-5 пайке, покупаеш новое и опять на одну пайку, а ставиш медную проволоку разогрев ооочень долгий, а найти железную с покрытием не реально, вот поэтому 40-50летний ЭПСИ 65 стоит в три раза дороже новенького китайского.

The soldering gun is nice. But one thing, what I will do: - The temperature of the cooper bars will be hot after a while, so they should be better insulated. - It would be nice to have a temperature regulation somehow, may be with a K-type sensor. Don't know how I should do this, possibly I could attach it to the heating wire with a little metal clip.

If you do own a Weller soldering iron which is actually called a soldering gun, you must have actually seen the difference between a Weller and this iron/gun
It lost the sense if you power it from mains. But.... 20V lithium battery from cordless drill is better option. And whole housing from drill + original battery = perfect tool. But remember - current in soldering tip is HF it is not suitable for sensitive electronic devices, but for some quick soldering some wires and connectors in field - perfect.

It really is a beautiful machine.
When you cut or sandpaper plastic it gets "foggy or milky" heat it with a torch and it will get clear again. Works great for HDPE😁
