Overview for test preparation, ASVAB arithmetic reasoning sample problems with tips and tricks to do well on any standardized math test. This is the second part of a practice test and part of a final exam for the Foundations of Math course.
Thank you sir for sharing your peice of knowledge with us. What you are doing is just fantastic, i hope you continue doing the great work..
Thank you, kind words
@@ColfaxMath Sir, i would be taking the asvab test after a couple of months from now, so can you suggest me a good guide book of reasoning & maths for asvab?
@@ranjan6657 If you go to the description, I have a whole course on video.
@@ColfaxMath Thank you ! I have found it a couple of days ago on your channel..
Great to hear that
Good day sir I just got your RUclips channel and my asvab final test comes towards ending of this month November..hope everything goes smoothly and I can get some guidelines
Good to hear, good luck
How did you do?
Getting better with the probability problems. Still forget how to do some of them though. Guess I'm off to review chapter 9.
Good, glad you are working your way through the whole course and it's making sense
Where did 3.5 come from on #1 im confused
7 divided by the 2 gave me the 3.5
Thank you!!!!
I got a 1/7 right, A 14% score. i'll do the 15 chapters and come back!
Thank you
Keep studying and you'll improve
Can you please give me a private course so I can be ready to take the test in a near future!!!
Hi Jagens, I'm not really set up to do that. Keep studying
My asvab test doesn't ask me this type of question when I was doing the test
Good to know
@@ColfaxMath How is it possible that they aren't similar? This is a huge problem.
How is number 12 not D😢
Correct answer is C because the probability is 1/3. Before you reduce the fraction it is 2/6. Which is rolling a one or rolling a two. Two our of 6
Can somebody please explain number 11 I don’t see how he got 6? I know he put 1/2 but did he cross multiply??
Yes
1/24 = X/12
How you do with 24 to have 12? Multiply by 0.5
So to have the full size of the car multiply 12 by 0.5
A way that I see it and got the right answer is once 1/2 over 12 is in fraction. I converted 12 into 12 over 1 then I multiplied across and reduced it and got 6. Maybe it’s not the most ethical way but I got the same answer.
Thank you for doing what you do. I understand only portions of math and have an extremely hard time grasping things related to geometry and you’re helping me so so much. Doing things like fractions, decimals, and percents is frustrating for me because I never know when the problem is done. I know how to convert them I just don’t know how far to work the problems sometimes. For example the question with the cakes. I didn’t figure out how many cups 1 cake was so I instantly multiplied 5x7 and got 35 only to realize I didn’t figure out what half of that was.
i have a question for number 16
How can I help?
