I got you! The mouse feels very different when you have dry and sweaty heads. The black is definitely better in dry conditions compared to the white.

There are no other differences in the white and black versions besides coating and 1 gram of weight. Everything else is the same for both versions.

I bought a white viper ultimate after having had a black one and the cyberpunk edition and it is fr a bit different
W comment! But this is a newer version of the Viper and it would be a great upgrade from the Viper ultimate
Had the v3 for a week and pretty much had a similar conclusion as you. V3 is a very nice mouse but it just can't beat the consistency and comfort of the gpx for tac fps.

About the coating, how it compares to other mice? Is it like the GPX? Or Zowie? Or is it like the Deathader v3 pro??

can you please check your VV3 pro if you have wobbly scroll wheel issue? The scroll wheel wobbles/moves when you push it sideways left and right, like there is a gap movement on the inside. It makes a small click feeling (but not the scroll wheel clicks)

Unfortunately I don’t have a V2 pro, but comparing to the v2 pro, the v3 is a lot more filling in hand with the raised hump

I am switching from my glorious model o white to viper v 3 pro because my middle mouse button broke and in general its a needed upgrade but i cant decide what colour would be better for me i would like to know which colour is more similar to the coating of the model o white and which is better for me if you don't own the model o its fine i understand why no one would buy the dumpster fire of a mouse known as model o that's why I'm switching 😭if you could help me out in choosing the colour it would be much appreciated! (also I'm a palm grip and i don't sweat a lot but i still do sweat time to time so i would say if that helps, this decision is getting to my head half say white is better half say black.)
Go for the white and see how you like it. Buy it from the Amazon links I have in the description, if you don’t like the coating you can return/exchange it for a black one for free.

The heat map areas should be the same between the white and the black since they have the same shape and it’s more about where your hand touches the mouse. You can give it a try, but in my case both color ways works for my sweaty hands.

I dont know anyone who actually clicks the back sidebutton with the tip of their finger.. its usually the middle of the thumb and the front sdie button for the tip of finger
Actually a lot of people with claw grip, clicks the back side buttons with the tip of their fingers, you can check a lot of pros' grips

Yes! It’s grippy even when your hands are dry.
it's way too expensive for plastic... you can get finalmouse almost for that price...
sure it's expensive, but I'd take this over the finalmouse if I was focused on esports

1 week reviews are useless. A mouse changes a lot after 1-2 years of use. The mouse wheel will develop issues pretty soon. Will it still be a 5.000000000000000 stars out of 5 stars ?
I have the deathadder v3 8khz wired, the coating was amazing in the first weeks, now it's ugly and sticky I just want to change it just because of it. I try to clean it, it's just not the same like it was new. So the coating is actually trash 1/5 stars forcoating.
The mouse wheel was nothing special when it was new, now it's trash after 1 year of use. it scrolls down when I scroll up and also the other way around. 1/5 trash scroll wheel
Cable is amazing, I don't feel it at all, but in some very rare ocasions, the mouse disconnects, so the cable is broken. 1/5 stars for cable
The software is trash, it takes like 5 gigabytes across all C: drive, just for a mouse driver 0/5 stars for software
Mouse creaks if I keep it too tight, 2/5 stars for build quality
Other than that the mouse still works.
