You skipped over a key bit of dialogue when Aloy whispers to Beta in Tilda's house. Tilda asks what she was planning and she said "That is between me and my sister," which is the first time Aloy acknowledges Beta as her sister. I thought that was a powerful moment.

I love how we started thinking she was annoying after her panic attack and her constant pessimism but during their argument to go to Gemini when Beta said she kept wondering why she had a defect it made me really empathise with her. She just didn't have Elisabet's mother or Aloy's adopted father Rost.

@@bandeirarv I hope not,, but honestly I can see scenarios where either Aloy or Beta sacrifices themselves..either allowing either one to survive to keep the Sobeck's gene print alive, or Beta surviving to allow her to become the legacy of not only Elisabet but Aloy, letting Beta become the "successor" to Aloy would make for "good" character development since Beta has always felt inferior or a defect for Lis. I mean, I hope none of this happens of course! But it's a possibility, no? I'm very anxious to see what happens!

They better not kill Beta in the next game. I'll legit lose my mind if that happened. She is the only one besides Rost who Aloy calls family.
Man they won't Beta gonna be part of Co op and playable maybe like the new Spiderman 2 or the witcher 3 but more in depth that would be Phenomenal

Agree that Beta's family, but a big point of this game's plot was Aloy learning that her "family" is bigger than she thought. She's got Erend, Zo, Alva and Kotallo, now. That's why she committed to protecting Zo and Varl's kid.
@@triton5336 First of all, Insomniac Games already said Spider-Man 2 won't be co-op and second of all, I seriously doubt that Horizon 3 will have co-op, this is mainly Aloy's story, they aren't just going to start making you play as other characters.

I just had a thought. What if for the next game, Aloy is teaching Beta about hunting machines and combat as the tutorial level. I feel that would be incredibly wholesome and would love to see the sisters bond more.
For the third game, I would love to see Beta starting to finally live now that she never has to worry about the Zeniths again
As badass as that would be, they made a point that Beta wasn't just another Aloy just like how they both weren't just another Elisabet. I think Beta will have a new outfit and be more confident but I don't see her fighting like Aloy does. Aloy had to train since she was 6 years old to get to the level she is at, and it's not Beta's style ^^
@@shydreameress264 I also thought for a second that Aloy teaching Beta would be really wholesome, but I think you got a very good point there. Beta even says (if you talk to her about the Nora proving after bonding) she'd rather just explore ruins than do physical training on that level, even after Aloy says she could probably do it.

One thing that I noticed is that Beta's expression is different from Aloy, she looks sad all the time with her eyebrow, but after the final battle it changed. Nice detail from Guerilla

I'd go a step further and argue this may be the logical next step. That's if it isn't a DLC for this game.

I really hope they train Beta and give her a better outfit, plus Aloy takes her back to Meridian and the Embrace.
I personally see Beta taking a more “Girl in the chair,” role in the next game. She’ll probably learn how to wield a bow though.
She might get Aloy’s OG outfit and spear, the ones she used for most of Zero Dawn

Hephaestus helped them at the end. Maybe the developers' endgame is that Hephaestus remains separate (since it's evolving and doesn't want to be re-integrated) but they strike up a truce. Happy ending with avenues open for spin-offs
HEPHAESTUS being as it is is kinda important to the game's premise as... Well, a game. With it integrated, Guerilla will have to write something else in as a force behind the hostile machines.
I know they cutted in this video, but when the Far Zenith asked "why there was a Elizabeth Sobeck's clone in that facility" sounded like they had seen more clones before her...
and i bet they were all huge pain in their Butts! XD

I always like FW's story cuz while talking about topics on "twins" or "clones", many stories tend to exaggerate how different they are and focus on the individuality between sisters, while FW focus more on how they have in common and how they're more bonded and inseparatable then other.

Perfectly encapsulates the argument of nature vs nurture. Two clones identical to the last strand of DNA raised in two different environments yielding two polarizing "Elisabet Sobeks".
It's interesting to watch how much aloy has become a leader over 2 games
I was very pissed at Tilda during the finale not because she decides to kidnap Aloy and escape into the space leaving everyone else behind, I was genuinely pissed because Tilda called Beta an inferior copy of Elisabet Sobeck. I fought hard during that final battle and gotta admit I was satisfied when I saw Tilda laying dead on the ground. Serves you right for messing with Aloy's sister. Beta is a great person as she is 😤💅
if you think about it tulsa could’ve survived and created another clone exept feed her the knowledge of aloy instead from the focus

I can't see them not going east in my opinion. They went central-Easternish already in the first game. They went far west in this one. Aloy in this one has talked about venturing back to Nora territory to talk to Sona about Varl. Plus you somehow have to wrap up the loose end that is Avad and his shenanigans. I wouldn't be surprised if the next game went back to Meridian and far east from there. Perhaps 2 maps maybe? Just seems like the next step given the circumstances right? Unless they go north or something lmao.

Beginning of the game I thought Beta was a weird storyline, didn’t like having another Aloy, she was so senile and rude and I didn’t like her at all. Now after playing the entire game, she’s the bestest sister, and I want her to just be happy and I will protect her at all costs! 🥺

When she asked "what did it feel like" in regards to feeling loved. That really hurt me. That poor girl was raised as nothing more than a tool.

Yeah that makes sense, also I think Nemesis will use Hephaestus to kill the humans and near the of the game Hephaestus will finally join Gaia willingly with the promise that the humans learn to not hunt the robots because they are useful to the planet.
Why earth still depending on terraforming...is the lore state that the earth will forever need terraforming system in order to work well....i thought terraforming only for rebuild the world not forever
@@khairudinfaiz3778 well yes terraforming is the act of making a planet or what ever Ball of rock able to support life however Gaias terraforming system can do that and then some, it is able to keep the planet sustained no matter what. For example if there is a drought in Africa machines there will still cultivate the land and skies so the drought doesn't happen, smoke made by man or machine is cleaned by the aerial machines, trees cut down replaced so all in all it is "self sustaining terreformation" however haephustus still makes these machines sort of, the machines still have the ability to do the things but prioritize aggression as the option you get in game to make the overridden machine passive or aggressive. EARTH will always depend on terraforming as long as humans are still around and evolving especially as rapidly as the ones in the Horizon Universe that have some access to highly advanced technology, information, etc. So it won't tale long for them to be as advanced as us if not more after hundreds of years give or take 3535 which is fast considering we are really advanced after 2000 or so years form where they are but they can at most by 1500 years in the future (without apollo that is, with give it 200 or 300 years)
@@khairudinfaiz3778 It's more likely that the terraformation stopped after GAIA "got it right". The machines remained not for terraformation but for maintaining the ecosystem.

The actual potential of the story itself is actually huge, so I don't quite understand Guerrilla's plan to "just" make a trilogy out of it. So far we have seen Aloý´s travel through parts of 6 states. If we subtract Alaska and Hawaii, we are still left with 42 states. Which in itself is already a huge playground with many countless possibilities, with just as countless possibilities to continue the story.
After all, Aloy and now her sister Beta are nothing more than the keepers of the planet.
And this task never really ends.
I agree when I say it would be nice to see the "little family" around Aloy and Beta make it to the east coast to discover New York and/or Washington....but that will probably remain a pipe dream.
I can only hope that Guerilla will change its mind and make more parts.... and as the saying goes: "Hope dies last".

Personally I'm fine with a trilogy. With a number of games, say like Assassin's Creed, there's the risk of having just "more of the same". Possibly it could work, but, you know, on the long run it may become too much. Personal opinion anyway.

At first it was difficult to like beta due to the way she spoke and her negativity, but then you realise shes pretty much been a slave of the zeniths from the very moment she was born. Her contact with other people was extremely limited.. she was not allowed a childhood. Even the zeniths call her an inferior copy after they see what aloy is capable of as an older sobeck clone.
I will be interested to see what the writers do with beta in the next game, if she will just be a side supporting character from base or if they give her a more leading role. Shes currently the smartest human on the planet with all the apollo database knowledge, so it would be a bit weird if they did nothing with this plot point.
So basically what I have learned is, hades was hacked and wanted to destroy earth(while being an arrogant little shit) and Hephaestus got butthurt and ran off to cry and eventually got captured and released again.
I wonder how rost reaction would be to two Aloys XD

I think you missed some hidden dialogues between them, and also Aloys speaks about Beta outside the base with other characters
I have every meaningful interaction and dozens of the not so much - don't believe I missed anything
@@VideoGameSophistry Just dont talk to Beta during the whole game (Well, do it but only if its necessary) and after the bonding moment before going to Gemini, try to speak to her all the dialogues available, you see that Aloy isnt rude anymore and that the lines have changed. Beta even talks about how she would have loved to explore the All Mother Mountain and grow up with Aloy and be "outcasts together" I loved that, and I really didn't know this was even possible to see this, but its true. Try it and you can add it to the video :)

I think that Aloy is going to sacrifice herself to end Nemesis' threat to life on Earth, mirroring how Elizabet sacrificed herself to ensure that ZD would be protected.
Beta (who's probably going to choose a new name) is likely going to be trained up by Aloy in the inter-game months, and we'll likely play as her in the epilogue, and the inevitable DLC that shows she's just as strong a warrior as Aloy to herself and the player.
Imagine the twist in the 3rd was that you were playing as Beta the entire time and not Aloy.

Keep in mind, this game canonically takes place over a very short amount of time. Beta and Aloy have only really known each other for a week or two. It’s a lot to ask of two people to go from complete strangers to sisters in that time frame.

Guerilla game will have to remove the huge broom they have in their little ass, damn! The game is super beautiful but it's boring with its hollow and charisma-free characters, it's not at the level of THE WITCHER 3. I finished the game just for its graphics and its magnificent dialogue scenes where the dialogues suck but the direction is really good but the rest is crap!
And TINY Aloy fighting robots hundred her size is ridiculous. Damn woke game! The lesbian thing was good but for a little shitty kiss and then they separate straight away you might as well do nothing.
It's really a shitty game just like cyberpunk 2077, horizon fw is a huge waste and less worse!!!!
