I know he can’t do a post about his cycles because of sponsors and his own nutrition label but it would be good to know what taking and what dosage.

Fair play to nick willing to lose size to achieve his goal. I love running and the feeling it gives me. It's something i'm very good at but i'm reluctant to do much cardio as i want to hold onto as much muscle as possible and gain size. It's tough to not do something you love to train for a different goal.

i run a 20k a week and i want to balk up since i hit the gym 3 times a week.
so im thinking just run 3k for 3 days a week and don't go that hard in one day. do you think that's a good idea?
@@Sully_one as long as youre working every muscle group each week and are progressing with the reps/sets/weight each session from the last while being in a calorie surplus then you'll be alright. People refrain from running just on basis you'll have to eat more because of the calories lost and could impact how intense your weight sessions are if you're fatigued. To put it in basic terms: Calorie surplus + Progressive overload = muscle gain.

Hey Nick! Just a little suggestion, I am a die hard ketchup guy and I eat it with almost everything... since I eat so much of it I buy it from Costco and I recently found out they have a zero high fructose corn syrup version! Just a little tip 🤷🏼♂️👌🏼

Nick you gotta swim 5-6x times per week to get better at swimming. Michael Phelps always said for every day missed it takes two to get back. In the world of swimming this is a very true statement.
In an Ironman, swimming only takes 7-15% of the total time. Better to go slower for the swim and have strength to push for the bike. Source: also training for an Ironman.

I love how people still think that Himalayan sea salt does something. You would have to overload your body with that salt to get any mineral benefits from it.

I’m sure he takes Protein shakes after each workout as well plus other supplements... but yeah was also thinking, being that size, it must be around 5k.. on my double training days of swimming and running I eat around 3.5k and I have no where near the muscle mass that Nick has
He doesn’t eat enough for a guy with those muscles and with all of that cardio he does...I smell steroids

Put your mask on dude it’s not that hard for someone training for an Ironman to use a mask, it’s so frustrating to work at a grocery store and see so many people pull down their masks to unlock the phone, talk on the phone, drink water, etc. and I’ve done it for a whole ass year. You’re lucky you get to pursue your passions while so many people lost their jobs and loved ones because COVID keeps spreading. The least you can do is keep the mask on for the 30 minutes inside of a grocery store

I’m almost positive he just mixes in a tiny bit of milk to the whey to make it a pudding like consistency! Don’t think he adds any other ingredients considering the protein powder is so sweet by itself.

I’m trying to figure out your coffee situation in the beginning of this video. What kind of machine is that and how do you make it? I’ve never seen coffee made like that before. Also, what kind of food scale do you use?
He is using a Chemex set up for his coffee. If you're a keen black coffee drinker, it's great but takes a little longer to set up in the morning than your average coffee. I definitely would recommend,I think its a great start to the morning going through the process to wake up your brain.

3800cals, man I have started training for my first tri (1/4 distances of a full tri) with strength training etc but I still wouldn’t be doing anywhere as near as much volume as you, aiming for 3700cal but go over regularly, over the week I’d average 3900 a day I reckon... I’ve gone from 92-86kg (not trying to lose weight) 3800 seems low, maybe I’m lucky with a high metabolism and can eat a tonne haha
