A fine movie with excellent actors, which make their parts so real and believable! They don't make actors like these anymore!

This is a really solid film. I'm completely surprised how they managed to fit so much goodness into a mere 66 minutes. Definitely worth checking out!

Never heard of this film before but it's a real gem. Good plot, great acting and some excellent photography. All crammed in to much less than the standard 90 minutes. And Marcella's hair deserved its own special credit; what a mane!

I think it's really well made, far superior to anything made now, the acting superb all around. I'm glad I came across this. Well worth watching.

Back when every movie showed, crime doesn't pay. Now, it's the exact opposite. No wonder the whole systems unraveling around us.all.

Cornelius smelled nice and was good to his mother. Could that have been code?

Could the son be any less likable? Or the girlfriend more naive?

The Shop at Sly Corner was made 5 years earlier, and it's a much better production all the way around. Oscar Homolka is hard to top in such a role, but this little movie comes close, IMO. The plot twist was good, and the acting was also. Amanda was too dumb, but innocents are often overly naive to please audiences that feel sorry for them. TY- great post!

Not a bad movie. I never did figure out why they named it "The Frightened Man".
