Perfect timing, I’m currently sitting watching this in my hotel room at crossroads6 and literally just watched the Jensen+Danneel panel where they talked about this episode!
As usual I thought the Dean and Cas stuff was cute! Dean feeling guilty for not realizing it wasn't Cas on the phone and Cas deflecting this. Also I loved how both wanted to kill Ketch and grab a beer afterwards
Even though I don't care about spoilers but you are 3 episodes away from my all time favorite supernatural episode season 13 episodes 16 if you don't want to know what the episode is about don't look at the title
This episode was the writers forcing us to accept Ketch as a good guy by making the brothers and Cas into dumb damsels. The big issue I have with "redeeming" Ketch is it's not a good look for Sam and feels like a slap in the face to Eileen and the potential she had and makes her even more like Sarah Blake. To recap Sarah Blake was a woman Sam like but wasn't dating who was killed by Crowly, the issue stems that both brothers ended up in a begrudging and frequent alliance with him sometime after that, though it took a few season before the two were sort of friendly with each other, and since Crowley help was needed and he was a great character fan kind of overlooked Sarah's death. Now it seems like the writers are having Ketch be Crowley 2.0 who like him killed a woman Sam liked but hadn't dated yet, it's not a good trend to have, plus Crowley is nowhere near as popular or interesting than Crowley. I still don't get why he wasn't on kill on sight mode like Dean and Cas
Danneel plays the smart, calculating snarky role well. And my goodness, she's stunning. She and Jensen together are like staring at the sun. By this point in the show, I was SO sick of Lucifer. So, so sick. They kept the wrong Mark in my opinion.
So i don't have problem with Sister Jo as a character nor her actress (who is Jensen wife and mother of his 3 children) but what bothers me are her names! "Jo" is already a name of a beloved character in this series, Yes we have two "Amelia", but one was originally just a one-episode character and the other is the second most hated girlfriend in the series. Then there's the Angel name, it should've been Jophiel, who is the only angel in lore who is portrayed as a woman and is considered the angel of beauty. Instead, they went with Anel, and admittedly my reason for hating this name is petty, but that was the name most fanfic writers used as Anna Milton's true Angel name.
@@alexjo625 Oh no Amelia is the worst relationship ever, but technically Ruby did manipulate Sam into starting the Apocalypse. So even though Sam and Ruby's relationship had way more chemistry and passion than Amelia (and it was actually enjoyable to watch), and I loathe Amelia to her core, she didn't try to end the world.

Way I look at it, ever since Lucifer rose the first time, hunting doesn't have the luxury of a moral stance.
