It has been so much fun watching you take this Agents of SHIELD journey. Most AOS reactors are men.... so as a woman, I am glad to see another woman's perspective and reaction to this show. Your reaction to the first 10 minutes was hillarious! LOL. Every emotion rolled up in one.... cuz that's what this show does to you. It take you on a rollercoaster ride. I bet you are extremely glad you decided to give AOS a try. It's great, huh? I hope some more women decided to do reactions to AOS. Don't get me wrong... I have enjoyed many of the male reactions... It's just really cool to enjoy it with other women. Keep having fun! This show is AWSOME!!!! And your reaction are great!
Absolutely fantastic reaction! You make some interesting & understandable assumptions before watching based on the snippet that ended S4. And you also asked even better questions after this episode ended! Love Mack’s attitude during their initial disorientation. It fabulously continues off-and-on throughout this season. (And beyond?) I love this season unconditionally. Never understood the misgivings that others have, but we each have our own preferences. So looking forward to see your reactions and thoughts. Don’t know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but there is an IRL reason for Fitz not to have been taken. Iain was filming a film called “Overlord” at the time this season was being produced. But yes- in the season, he IS left behind for a reason. It’s really a testament to the show’s writers and other workers to make those kinds of absences work!

So much to unpack with S5 that they needed a 2-part intro to it. Overall I found this season a bit too grim and depressing to enjoy as much as previous ones and the budget limitations make themselves apparent, but it'll be interesting to see what you make of it.
Season 4 had a lot of on--location shots around Los Angeles, out in the glorious California sun. This season has completely transitioned to a reduced shooting budget, with very few location shots, and instead using indoor sets, and very little use of the sun.
Season five... urgh! The beginning of S5 is messed up. Heck, that whole season is messed up. However, it IS the last season that's actually a "FULL-22 -episode season", as opposed to the only 13 episodes that show and share have; still bummed out that S7 should've been longer.
Well, you can tell this season took a serious budget cut. Oddly enough, even though it got a last minute Season 6 renewal, the show didn't get a budget increased. So they decided it was better to focus on the quality of the show over the quantity of episodes, and it really shows in the last two seasons.

The opening scene of Overlord took my breath away, stunning film making! Such an underrated film that Overlord and Iain criminally underused!

Season 4 was a drag compared to season 5-7. Told you. All questions will be answered in future episodes
