If I had paid my very hard earned money to see this great show, I would not be held responsible for my actions.
The stage hand were useless.
Stage crew are not employed to rugby tackle protestors. Les Miserable is a highly complex show to produce technically so they had to stop the show as cast memebers were moving back from their marks.
Hold on! Isn’t Les Misérables about fighting the power of the French revolutionary government and it's injustice Just like what JSO is doing today. I guess the toffs in the audience just wanted to see some adult Glee Club singing and dancing.
@@Cannon_Fodder_Russianstoffs? You sad deluded idiot. Most of these people save for months to be able to see these shows. What give these people the right to destroy that for them.
Stagehands are not trained bodyguards we are trained not to engage security’s job is to tackle. Stagehands job is not to engage with people who potentially are dangerous
That guy with the red flag had a chance to whack her over her head... 😄 but thankfully decided not to
They should be made to pay every one of them peoples refund ! Must be punished for this !
and the actors that agreed with what they did as well should not be allowed to be part of the cast or the theatre should scrap their show and the ones that let them be on the stage can tell the other cast why they not getting paid theatres can not afford his kind of thing
Those*
They should have launched her off the stage and carried on
Hold on! Isn’t Les Misérables about fighting the power of the French revolutionary government and it's injustice Just like what JSO is doing today. I guess the toffs in the audience just wanted to see some adult Glee Club singing and dancing.
@@Mybwain So you're complaining about protesters interrupting a play about protesters. That's smart , real smart...😂
Why didn't they drag them off?
Because the country has gone pussy
Totally agree with you but then they will be the ones getting in trouble and then probably get done for assault from the police as usually that what happens as these pathetic idiots just seem to get away with everything they do which I thought they brought in a tough law or something to actually punish these idiots but seems they just get a little slap on the hand and a “don’t do it again”. I personally would have booted them right off the stage lol 😂.
Ironically Les Misérables about fighting the power of the French revolutionary government and it's injustice. Just like what JSO is doing today. I guess the toffs in the audience just wanted to see some adult Glee Club singing and dancing.
Stagehands are not trained bodyguards, we watch for actors but protestors could be dangerous and we aren’t trained to stop a potentially deranged person

The irony is that these white middle class protesters interrupted a key song in the show adopted by tens of thousands of young Hong Kong students during their protests before being crushed by Beijing lackeys. Now that took real courage with terrible consequences - compared to a bunch of local protestors who will never face long jail sentences or exile.
People can spend up to a dozen years in prison in the UK for protests "deemed illegal" - there is no freedom of speech anymore, cretin.
This is where throwing coins work

They seem to me they are always Uni students or Uni teachers or weird old people. I think they teach them this rubbish in Schools/Uni and brainwash them plus some are also paid actors/actresses paid from some very rich people to cause trouble.
So you're complaining about protesters interrupting a play about protesters. That's smart , real smart...😂
@@Cannon_Fodder_Russians thank you
@@xinma6034 JSO was just giving the audience an authentic 19th century revolutionary experience because that's what the play is about. Standing up for what you believe in , upsetting the status quo.
All u had to is ignore them. Keep on singing. They would be embarrassed as security would pull them off the stage. Stopping the show is what they wanted. Dont give in.
And yet everyone stayed in character.
Wonder if Les was miserable about it?
NO because ironically Les Misérables about fighting the power of the French revolutionary government and it's injustice. Just like what JSO is doing today. I guess the toffs in the audience just wanted to see some adult Glee Club singing and dancing.
@@Cannon_Fodder_Russians Les Miserables is not about "revolutionary government", but about the June Rebellion of 1832. They republicans attempted to reverse the establishment of July monarchy in 1830. No relation to the French revolution which happened earlier, and let's not forget, lead to terror. People, read the book, the musical is great, but it cannot cover the whole book. As to protestors, they are nutcases and hypocrites. They say "just stop oil" as if it were so easy while using it themselves starting from the clothes they were.
I love how in the first clip you can see an actor stage right protect the child and make sure they got off safe whilst the tech’s still made sure that the protesters were safe while the front cloth flew in! Still’ I’d have been super pissed off

Omg that woman shouting naughty people is driving me insane every time I hear her. Ok it’s stupid them doing it seriously though the rest are just booing.
We wonder how long this just stop oil protest will take
I'm shocked that Just Stop Oil disrupted a stage show, as I thought that they were going to do, but I'm quite surprised that they haven't done it at a Haven park's entertainment venue, now that would've probably angered the guests if they did that! lol😂 I can imagine that if it happened, the JSO protesters would've done it during one of Haven's Seaside Squad shows, claiming in their message that animals and wildlife are not going to survive in these hotter climate conditions caused by our "criminal" government's plans to grant new fossil fuel licences....
Not acceptable. Period.
Ironically you're complaining about protesters interrupting a play about protesters. That's smart , real smart.😂

Where was the security, I'd hate to think if these were terrorists what they would do. Such idiots deserve jail
its a theatre so they don't have security staff.
@@teainortakoy They really should especially after what happened in Paris and at the Ariana grande concert
They were upsetting rich people. that's fine. who gives a f*ck about rich toffs and other parasites? Do you? Serf.
@@RoseEastyy1 A similar thing happened recently in NYC at the Metropolitan Opera. Over there, the protestors were in the audience. They strategically positioned themselves in the middle of the rows, so they were difficult to remove. They interrupted twice. The first time, the ushers removed them. The second time, the audience got quite a bit angry. The performers didn't know what was going on and got pretty upset. They continued the performance with lights partially turned on so that they can remove the protestors in case it happens again. I wonder if it affected the singers' performance after that. The Met has security, but they look for weapons at the entrance and protestors looked just like usual thater-goers.

What makes you think they’re toffs. It’s not Glyndebourne. In fact the song they were singing at the point they interrupted was a rallying song for students during their heroic protests in Hong Kong before they were crushed by Beijing lackeys.
