I know this is a Procreate Basics course, but I am trying to understand how colors work in general :D
I would appreciate if someone tells me the keywords/term for the concept mentioned at 7:12
Because I can't see what she is referring to at 8:17
I want to search for it and understand the aspect which she mentions about color picking in this video
I am a complete noob, please help :D

when she mentions no value changes she is basically talking about brightness (light to dark) and no saturation (vibrancy/grayness), as she mentioned in beginning of video. So at 7:12 she mentioned about changing color but not the value or saturation it means you change the color without changing the brightness and the grayness. In order to do this she showed an example of the blue where she picked up the color 2x so that you can see the difference. When she change one of the blue to yellow you notice that the color changed but so does the brightness and vibrancy/grayness of it compared to the color swatches on the first row. Thus, she moved the yellow a little to the right with the mini circle which changes brightness and grayness because she noticed that the yellow she had originally picked up was too bright. In order for the values to match she colored it next to the other yellow with no value changes and see how they blend together. If the colors are of the same value it should blend really well and they should have the same kind of tone like consistency. (she also did the smudge test to see how it smudges together which shows that the colors have no change in value). Also, if your confused why the yellow she picked didn't match the swatch on first rows yellow since they are suppose to be no value changes then its because she mentioned that she wanted the yellow to be more vibrant.

What do you mean when you say colours vibrate?

This is the most difficult to explain. Cuz my colors on the screen vibrates. But through my camera, the screen colors look different. So annoying. Later I’ll make a few sample swatches Image n pin it here

Episodes 1-10 were amazing for me as a beginner, thank you. But in episode 11 you seemed to switch into very fast ‘expert’ mode, and I didn’t understand a thing. Shame, but I guess some knowledge is better than none ...
