All the books you read are on my TBR list. I was planning to start with the Scottish one very soon. I love cozy murder mysteries besides sci-fi and fantasy. I loved reading the An Irish Village Mystery series by Carlene O'Connor and the Flora Steele Series by Merryn Allingham, especially the audiobook versions. Currently, I'm reading the 6. book of Julia Bird Mysteries by Katie Gayle, which is also a great series. As you mentioned, I love when characters grow and stories diverge from the familiar, cozy mystery tropes. I have found myself going back to T.E. Kinsey's Lady Hardcastle series and Library Lover's Mystery series by Jenn McKinlay for new releases over the years, which always fun and cozy like coming home

I just changed the raglan stitches on my Staffin sweater to the long braid is the Hiedra mitts because I didn't like the purl stitches between the two knit stitches along the raglan seams. I improvised my own Hiedra headband in the round with garter stitch on the inside of the tube.

Ooh the braids in the raglan sound absolutely amazing! What a wonderful idea! ❤️

I’ve knit a pair short penny gloves. And find them very useful for jackets with fitted cuffs. Great for scraps.

Great works ! I love your new Jacket/cardigan, not sure I would appreciate this pattern though, you had to make so many modifications. I also like all your wips.
